The equipped monster's ATK becomes 0, and cannot be destroyed by battle. You take no battle damage from battles involving the equipped monster. When the equipped monster successfully attacks an opponent's monster, if it is not a FIRE or pyro-type monster, it gains 2 "Frozen" counters (max 2). As long as a monster has a "Frozen" counter, it cannot attack, change position, or activate its card effect (even if this card is not on the field). During each of your opponent's end phase, remove 1 "Frozen" counter.
@ Garden Shovel: It`s a bit OP`d when equipped to Plants, but when equipped to a different type, it`s broken, because if you just ONLY say that it gains +1k ATK when attacking Plants, then that means that the +1k ATK boost stays even after that battle. Which is probably not what you have meant.

@Ordinary Shovel: This one is broken from head to toe. It throws your opponent`s monster basically out of the game by you doing basically nothing whatsoever. Remove the banish part and add something more balanced but still powerful (inflicting piercing damage, inflict damage = to the destroyed monster`s ATK/DEF, etc.) If you`re going to keep the banishing part, try making it face-up and let it return to the grave after a few turns, but at LEAST make the banish face-up.

@Plastic Shovel: Fusion Sword Mursame Blade with bigger immunity and more choice of who you`re equipping to? No. Should be a limit to who you are equipping to (let`s say a EARTH monster, for example. Y`know, cause it`s a shovel and shovels scoop up dirt?)

@Snow Shovel: I like the name Frozen Counters, even though the counters themselves are OP`d. Also, I want to point out that the last effect of Snow Shovel cannot be used because it does not state where you are removing a Frozen Counter from.
The equipped monster`s ATK becomes 0, and cannot be destroyed by battle. You take no Battle Damage from battles involving the equipped monster. At the start of the Damage Step, if the equipped monster successfully attacks a monster which is not FIRE or Pyro-Type: Place 2 Frozen Counters on that monster. While a monster has a Frozen Counter on it, it cannot attack, activate it`s effects (if any), and cannot change it`s Battle Position (even if this card is not on the field). During each of your opponent`s End Phases: Remove 1 Frozen Counter from each monster with a Frozen Counter on it.
ha thanks cr4.
I agree with your garden shovel review.
Ordinary: i meant by battle, but yea it could work as a regular banishment equip instead of face-down.
Plastic i thought was fine. only a 100 ATK point boost anyway, and monster effects arent as common as spell/trap effects.
Thanks for the fix on snow shovel.
