When this card is Ritual Summoned: Look at up to 2 random cards in your opponent's hand, then shuffle 1 of them into the Deck. whom at Konami thought it would be a good idea to give it 1000 DEF? Anyway, discuss the only blue card on the banlist. To be honest, even ignoring her interactions with Heiratics, I sort of feel it's a stupid card anyway, what with Aquamirror to fetch it back, Shadow and Vision to make it cheap to drop and has a decent body with a good level and is searchable by Abyss. At first I pondered why this is on the list, then I played Hieratic Gishki, the deck's far more consistent than I thought it was going to be, and it drops Rank 6s like no one's business. Discuss. Gem-Knight fusion is also stupid, but less so. The players: "We want good ritual and fusion monsters! And good ritual and fusion spells!" we got what we wanted, I guess. Then, this card was put into the hotseat when people started abusing it with Hieratics. Outside of those methods, Gishkis actually require skill to play just because making hiccups in your playing and set-up will heavily affect the performance of how the player plays..
