Jord200
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Mind_Control Ok seriously. WHY hasn't this been banned yet?
mido9
Im surprised this survived the whole synchro era.
Zazubat
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Mind_Control Ok seriously. WHY hasn't this been banned yet?Properly because it still has some balance. While I agree that putting it any higher than 1 is crazy, using that card as an Xyz Material can be difficult. Not every Deck needs this either, compared to other 1s there is. Banning it will make some Decks less useful though.
Superdoopertrooper
Because it doesn't really need to be. It's fallen out of favor quite a lot lately because most decks are designed to spit out Xyz monsters which the card isn't very effective at dealing with. It also has fairly reasonable restrictions on what can be done with the stolen monster so you either have to have a tuner (and synchro decks are pretty much completely dead now) or a monster with the same level as theirs in order to get good usage out of it. There are some other niche uses for it, but they boost nothing but rogue decks and the card having creative uses is a good thing. It's not banworthy anymore, its prime time has passed. Synchronized
It's strange how it's fallen out of favor with players. I still side it in (in Mermails) because in the Mirror Match it can be a very viable option, but even then the only Deck I could see maining it in at this stage in the game is Dino Rabbit. It's still broken in design but I'm not really sure it needs to go anymore.

evilfusion
I still tend to run it, especially if I use Synchros and/or Xyz, but it depends on the Deck. My Photon Deck rarely runs it because most players don't run Level 8 monsters enough to justify it over Tragoedia or something. But Decks that focus on one specific Rank (especially Rank 4s) will almost always run it. I remember when this card was beyond terrible because all it really did was get a monster out of the way of your attacks for one turn (or use their effects). Then Synchros appeared and this card was broken at 3. Hitting it to one is good, and the restrictions do plenty to prevent excessive abuse. All the other control switch Spell cards that allow the monster to attack and/or be Tributed seem to get banned (Brain Control, Change of Heart) precisely because they do too much and swing games in a player's favor just by using them. Mind Control doesn't do that as MUCH.
TheKaitoKid
Banishing your opponent's BLS with this is too funny.
Toffee.
It's not banworthy anymore, its prime time has passed. It's still pretty ridiculous, as far as card design goes :/
D.A._Sakuyamon
Should be switched with Change of Heart (heavy sarcasm). I tack it in if I have the room and remember about it.
