RageDecko
[attachment=37075:createcard.jpeg] I think i made is quite unique since its a replica of Stardust Dragon linking to the Blue-Eyes and Blue-Eyes Toon. I gave it this effect added onto the original but i decided the Toon archetype would be at it's highest peak since this card gives the Toons more stability. I cut the s/t, monster effect effect he had on this card since it is OP. What do you think?

hoom
i don't think anybody would make this when they can go for stardust, seeing as how something has to be destroyed first for this to use its effect. If an opponent uses Dark Hole, you're screwed. If you have two monsters including this one, and your other one is destroyed, what's the point of using its effect? It just leaves you open until your next turn.
a bad post
i don't think anybody would make this when they can go for stardust, seeing as how something has to be destroyed first for this to use its effect. If an opponent uses Dark Hole, you're screwed. If you have two monsters including this one, and your other one is destroyed, what's the point of using its effect? It just leaves you open until your next turn. If an opponent uses Dark Hole your screwed either way, unless you have some sort of counter. Also what's the point of tributing it, see the way the card is word plays out like this: Player1: I attack your random Toon Monster with my card! Player2: I sacrifice my Stardust Toon Dragon! *opponent continues with turn, and since your now defenseless scores a direct attack* Player2: Now that its my turn my Stardust Toon Dragon returns to my field! Player1: Okay... See what I mean, besides like Hoom said, why go for this when you can go for Stardust. As is this card is absolutely useless. RageDecko
It's justa bout messing with the effect alot more, its not useless at all...I thought of it as Stardust's original effect "if a s/t, monster effect activates destroy stardust then bring back at end phase" But if it was aimed at a toon monster. Kyng's Old Account
You're right. It is not useless at all. Every single card has its use. However, that does not mean that there are better cards. Stardust is better, in the majority of the circumstances. Sure, this card offers what would be considered as okay Toon protection, however you must then remember that this card is only really playable in Toon Decks. At the moment, they're not very good. This card's effect is too situational, and as a result would not see enough play.On an alternative note, I'm interested why you liked responses that gave no input to your card's improvement, and neglected the one which gave a lot of detail to point out errors this card has and, thus, allowing you chances to fix and resolve them. That's just me, though.
TheKaitoKid
Pretty good. This isn't even a valid post. OT: This card is virtually useless. For the same materials, I can get out Stardust which does a lot more. This isn't anything like TOON monsters and it kills me that people are just commenting to gain posts as opposed to actually critiquing the card. You might wanna add something else to it. Something that makes it viable. As it is, it just tributes itself if one of your monsters is destroyed. It can't activate during the Damage Step, so it'll only apply when one of your monsters is destroyed by card effects. Not too many cards do 1 off destruction these days, and if they do, your opponent would first target Toon Stardust before destroying another of your monsters. This card needs a lot of work, otherwise it'd never see play. At all.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Way to rip the card to bits KAIto.. Happens fairly often here, although usually it's me that rips cards to bits. OT: I see no point in beating a dead horse, but I might as well. To put simply, your card is, by every definition of the word, useless. Not only do you have much better options to go with (Stardust, Scrap Dragon). The card's effect only protects itself, not your other Toon cards, which is something this card can do better. If you want it to protect other Toons, you should have put: "Negate that effect and destroy it", just like the real Stardust does. In conclusion, the card will never see use. Balanced yes, realistic yes, but at the same time, it's basically toilet paper.
Althemia
Balanced yes, realistic yes, but at the same time, it's basically toilet paper.Completely and utterly inaccurate. Balance implies that it is not too good whilst not being too bad. Hence it is well-balanced. If a card is overpowered, it is not balanced. The same applies for a card being underpowered. This card is not good in the slightest though. Like sure, it's immune to Bottomless, Torrential, etc... But so is the original Stardust. So you need to make the card worth playing over the original, which is quite difficult but it is achievable. The way you've done it, however... nah, nowhere close. When designing a card, you should consider how you can make it worth playing with everything else. You could quite easily make this worth playing by actually making it a Toon monster for one (i.e. making the Toon World clause of being able to attack directly while there's a Toon World on the field whilst adding the attack LP cost, etc.) and by making it do something that one-ups Stardust specifically for Toon monsters/cards (i.e. When a Toon is targeted rather than potentially destroyed, trib to negate? Something like that could be better for this.)And yeah, this is probably how you guys should start structuring posts. Theorying as to why a card is good or bad then actually giving suggestions and advice on how a person can improve on their card making skills. RageDecko
UPDATE: [attachment=37124:2222222.jpeg] This is his newly added effect by popular demand, you guys were saying ti was useless...maybe you're right. Anyway here is the new effect i had added in: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Toon" monsters Cannot be Special Summoned unless you control a face-up "Toon World". This card can attack your opponent directly, unless they control a Toon Monster. If a "Toon" monster OR "Toon World" is destroyed by a Spell, Trap, Spell/Trap effect, or Effect Monster's effect is activated: Tribute this card; negate the activation and destroy it; During your End Phase, if this effect was used, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. What i did: - I added the same summoning requirements of "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon" as he is a level 8. It was "Cannot be Special Summoned unless you control a face-up "Toon World". This card can attack your opponent directly, unless they control a Toon Monster." - You may of noticed in "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon" (again) he has an effect saying "If "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, destroy this card." I altered this by adding stardust dragon's negate activation and destroy the card. Some of the queries you may have like "What monster would you need to summon him" Well: - - Manga-Ryu Ran + Level 1 TUNER e.g. Effect Vieler, White Stone of Legend etc. - Toon Cannon Solider OR Toon Gemini Elf OR Toon Goblin Attack Force OR Toon Masked Sorcerer OR Toon Mermaid + Level 4 TUNER e.g. Debris Dragon, Bri Synchron (Use his effect to posibly re-summon with more attack as a LAST RESORT) - Toon Dark Magician Girl OR Toon Summoned Skull + Level 2 TUNER. Thanks for looking and sharing ideas
