Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Pretty sure this goes here? Yu-Gi-Oh! War is based mostly on chance, but still fun, and lets you play cards you haven't seen in a long time or aren't worth anything to you anymore. The video says these are the rules: - 60 card deck created by a third party that both players draw from. Share a graveyard. - No extra deck (Both players would be able to see it anyways, making it pretty pointless) - Deck contains no searcher cards or any other cards that may reveal the contents of the deck (this allows the creator of the deck to put random cards in the deck to contribute to the WTF factor) - Any number of copies are allowed (the featured deck contains 3 Pot of Greeds and 4 Premature Burials) - You can include some really strange cards that aren't from the game, but it's recommended to keep this to a minimum. (Ex. Adding Bill from the Pokemon TCG or a card that says "You lose.") - Both players start with no cards in hand. - Duels are conducted in accordance to all other Official Yu-Gi-Oh rules. So then you basically put together a 60-card themeless highlander deck with a few amazing, a bunch of crappy, and some okay cards, ignoring the ban list. Then players take turns drawing from the same deck and use the cards they have drawn. Quite personally, I would like it if the game started with both players having at least 1 card in hand, but that's me. The game would really require 3 people to play properly: 1 to make the deck and 2 to play, but it would be fun for filler, and might be good for exercises in dueling (a little bit). Pretty straight-forward. DO: - Make a deck with the most possible chance of interplay. - Make a deck with both good and bad cards. - Add at least 2 draw cards. - Use cards that don't quite fit without other cards, but are still playable (Exodia, - Use cards people haven't seen in a long time/rarely, if ever, use. - Play like your opponent needs a topdeck to win (because they do). - Push for advantage. Any move could come up and turn things around. DO NOT: - Use search/recruit cards. The game is funner when neither player knows the contents of the deck. - Use an Extra Deck. While it could potentially be fun, unless you can come up with a way to randomize the process, you're better off without. - Add cards that are easy to play and impossible to get around. - Add stall cards that are hard to remove (Reaper, Marshy, Level Limit Area B ) - Wait on a "winning" card. It relies on luck and how you play the crappy cards you're dealt with. For all you know, your opponent will draw the card you want. - Be a party pooper. It's a game, and you play it for fun. While there is a small amount of skill involved, it's still based mostly on luck.
NoshpalStefan
In all honesty, considering how "bland", so to say, the game has become nowadays, with the rescue rabbits and the tour guides and so on and so forth, I think this idea is most ingenious. More like it should come up to make the game more fun. And, people can invent pretty interesting things. At locals, once the tournament is over, 5-6 people (including myself) would come together and play a "free-for-all game, in which everyone has 8000 LP, everyone can attack everyone, and the last one standing wins. It was quite fun and witty actually, it didn't just take skill to bring one down to 0 LP, but rather to make partnerships and allies and even give people the wrong impression so that you'd stay alive. Again, had a blast with that idea, so just throwing it as an example.
