Jord200
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Number_11%3A_Big_Eye 2 Level 7 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster your opponent controls; take control of that monster. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. I would think something would be done with this either before Volca and Machu Mach, but after Shock Master. Let's be honest. This thing is A LOT easier to summon compared to when it first came out.
Canadian
Just because it may not be the easiest or most practical card to play in a certain format (due to the given decks' capabilities, and the need for it), it is still of poor design and should be @0. Unfortunately, we are currently in the given situation where it is incredibly easy to summon, and also very practical to do so. Not to mention that the format still has another FIVE MONTHS to go... Cute Rotten Yoshika
i imagine it was most likely just overlooked when writing that list, and not an intentional attempt to keep it in, given what else was on there.
mido9
Perfectly balanced without ridiculous R7 spam engines.
Azuh
It made Level 7s unique. Compared to Level 8s who were vastly superior before Big Eye
Agro
The problem with high rank xyz started when Konami forgot that high level monsters are supposed to be harder to fucking summon.
玄魔の王
The problem with high rank xyz started when Konami forgot that high level monsters are supposed to be harder to fucking summon. This, right here, is the heart of the conflict. Big Eye is another one of those cards that is balanced on its own, but existing decks make it evil. And by existing Decks, I mean E-Dragons. Most times, Prophecies can do more with 2 Priestess, Mermails would rather make Abyssgaios, Machina would rather have the 2 Fortress, and Karakuri... yeah, you get the idea. Even E-Dragons make Dracosack before this thing much of the time, but they are indeed the problem because their engine is devoted no nothing but Rank 7's. Once the format is over, and most Level 7-based decks die off, this thing will be fine again.
