I don't see why Konami felt the need to nerf its original generic materials, since it's inferior to some of the other generic Rank 5s anyways. But with the change to Winged Beast-type monsters, the card is now close to unplayable.

 

Effect:

2 Level 5 Winged Beast-Type monsters You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; its ATK becomes 0.

It's meant to be a Chaos Xyz of Sylphine because Rio is a Barian. But that would give away the eventual plot twist.

Even if it were generic, Adreus and Volca still outclass it in 90% of situations.

Except that's terrible, because this requires Winged Beasts as the Material, so it clashes terribly with existing Rank 5 engines. Only ZW- Eagle Claw comes to mind as a significant Level 5, and it has the ZW restriction so you can only control 1. And odds are, you'd go for ZW- Leo Arms for a Rank 5 if you're running Eagle Claw.
