Iriq
The following idea came from a duel in the 1st season of the tv series:
Once per turn, you can equip this card to 1 face-up Level 3 or lower Normal Monster you control. When the equipped monster declares an attack, decrease the ATK of the attack target by the original ATK of the equipped card after Damage Calculation; if the equipped card would be destroyed, destroy it and Special Summon this card to your side of the field from the Spell/Trap Card Zone. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Special Summoned: Return it to the hand.

Once per turn, you can equip this card to 1 face-up Level 6 or lower Normal Monster you control.
To give an example of how this effect would work: Say for ex., your opponent has a high attack monster on the field, lets say ~4500 or even 5000. On your turn, after summoning Long Shot or Bow Sniper, you equip it to a monster say that is around 2500 or 3000 ATK. You could attack with your ~2500 ATK monster against their 4500 monster. The outcome of the battle would be: Your {[equipped] monster = 2500 ATK} would be destroyed by battle; Long Shot or Bow Sniper is Special summoned back to your side of the field from the S/T zone and your opponents monster has their attack decreased by 2500 down to 2000 ATK allowing you to be able to destroy that monster with any other monster you control. ^Note: If i remember correctly, yugi used a similar techinique against B.E.U.D by turning 1 of his monsters into an arrow or missile (mammoth graveyard, i think) and reducing BEUD's ATK to a lower amount.^ Comments? sullyvanj93
I like them! well balanced, because if you get attacked, your monsters can still be destroyed. very well done!

AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
The fact that they're both the same thing is irksome. Anyway, Long Shot is by far the most playable of the two, obviously, since it can be Normal Summoned in a snap and Level 4- monsters have more cards that SS them than Level 8 ones. Long Shot, however, requires making the tedious play of getting your vanilla and this onto the field - probably during the same turn - only to lose your vanilla in a kamikaze attack and having this return itself to the hand. You essentially use up two Summons to kill a big monster by battle when the equivalent of using up two Summons nowadays usually results in something larger. Then you have the issue with Tune Warrior, where making BRD is a much more favorable play than using your archer to kill a monster with 3000 or less ATK when you're in a sticky situation. Bow Sniper is simply much harder to get out and grants a largely unnecessary debuff on whatever monster your monster rams itself into, since Long Shot can kill about anything that happens in battle. In either case, if you do end up using two Summons to go into some beatdown move, it would be a lot better to use United We Stand if you do not plan on Extra Deck Summoning. For one, it allows both monsters to be susceptible of being Summoned by cards that Summon monsters of an archetype instead of a random vanilla and your monster. Plus, archetypes are usually capable of doing more than sacrificing a monster to kill a boss monster in battle. Plus, if you ever want to have any monster kill another in battle, there's always Riryoku, and that card isn't exactly useful outside of pumping damage.
