Galaxy-Eyes Rank 8; More Xyz Hate!

So I decided to make another Galaxy-Eyes boss monster. Like the others, its effect is anti-Xyz.

Sorry about the quality of the image; I found the render and played around with it a bit, but I'm not much of a custom image maker, so it turned out pretty bad.

Anyways, good comments and suggestions are always much appreciated.

Thanks for looking!

Effect:

2 Level 8 LIGHT monsters

If your opponent controls an Xyz monster at the start of your Battle Phase, this card gains 1 additional attack this turn. Once per turn, during either player’s turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; target 1 Xyz monster your opponent controls. Detach all Xyz Materials from that target. During either player’s turn, when this card would be removed from the field by a card effect while it has Xyz Materials: You can banish this card you control. During the next Standby Phase, return this card banished by this effect to the field, and if you do, target 1 card on the field; banish that target.

Not sure how I feel about the double attack, but guess it's okay with the Xyz restriction thing. It fits with the Gemini (Twins) stuff by the way which is cool.

More or less Galaxy Eyes family effect next. Pretty good, but a bit situational to Xyz like with other Galaxy Eyes, but otherwise good.

Now, a Stardust Zenmaines effect of sorts. I like the effect. Same drawback as Zenmaines, destroy/banish own if no others.

Not sure of any bad parts, except maybe the either turn thing for its Galaxy Eyes effect thingy.
Beautiful. <3

Thanks for your review, Nephy. Regarding the card's Summoning Conditions, they are quite easy in Galaxy-Photon.dek (or Rank 8 Hieratics, but those are bad), but as you said, quite situational in many others. As for its detaching effect; it was designed to be a faster Temtempo, acting as more or less a stun effect that makes your opponent think before throwing everything at you.

In terms of flavour, you do realize I will not be happy unless you make a Blue-Eyes Gemini Dragon ;~; That, or you're turning Galaxy Eyes into Cyber Dragonese. Either way, I like the pic. White -> Blue -> Red. How American XD

In terms of effects, this thing definitely is consistent with Zexal Rule 3, in which as an Antagonist Monster against Utopia it should be able to beat him. It also maintain's Kaito's Number Hunter image by stripping Xyz Materials. What I am very appreciative of is that last effect, which makes this fella very versatile in those Decks which lust for summoning him.

What's more is that you kept the stats. This guy is, in my opinion, a well made card, a must in Rk8'ers, and generally a very impressive card!

u sure u r not falling down stairs with all those "bump"s

sorry had to joke

the card is pretty interesting, the effect is cool, but as soon as your opponent plays xyz and for the rest of the duel your card would have 2 atks, which almost seems lopsided, then the whole thing where u get 2 detach all xyz materials from an xyz is again, kinda lopsided, but then there's the banish - resummon thing sweet man, totally sweet

i like this card it gets to be riducious because of its summoning conditions lol.

but Seriously this card will really make up for all the card advantage you will most likely lose to play if they ever drop an Xyz or already had one in play, and 3000 atk is not an amount to be ignore since they will likely have to burn a card to not take the damage and then most likely just end up losing more cards tohis last effect. very solid card. i wonder what type of engine you would need to competivily bring this card into play hmmm.

You're misunderstanding the card effect, it seems. It has a second attack only when your opponent controls an Xyz; if you get rid of their Xyz, Gemini will lose its additional attack. And the detaching effect it, as I stated before, a stronger Temtempo-like effect. However, it's likely that that effect will only be used once, otherwise its protection-resummon effect won't have an opportunity to activate.

The summoning conditions aren't difficult to accomplish, honestly. Obviously, by the card's name, it is designed to be used in a Photon/Galaxy deck, where it's easy to bring out Level 8s, and all of them being LIGHTs at that.
