Letter of Complaint to YCMaker which was ignored

That's the letter i sent some days ago complaining about the selection of moderators. If you think that you would get flamed then do not open the spoiler. If you think that this thread should be locked then go on and lock it. If you think that a weekly ban has to be given to me do it. That is my own opinion and this letter was absolutely IGNORED.

Dear YCMaker' date='

 

I am sending you this Private Message to tell you that I am disappointed with your choice of moderators. Only 2 deserved being moderators. Those are Dj-osiris and The Slime Lord. However, you selected 2 more which in my opinion didn’t have enough experience or didn’t deserve it. Those 2 are SushiTheLegend and Crab Helmet. The strange thing is how Sushi became a mod. He had been absent for more than 4 months and it is barely a month since he returned. During his absence new graphic designers were building up their skills. Those were me, wolfberserker, tehodis, JK Rewrite, Darkthrone and others. How did he become a mod? That’s question 1.

About Crab Helmet now. I know, it is none of my business but I want to help some people who got disappointed. He joined some time ago, and in fact, he isn’t as experienced as other people. Ever heard of 2 YCM members called HORUS and Lord Sheogorath (static)? Those know the TCG a thousand times better than him. Furthermore, there are existing moderators that agree, that Crab Helmet shouldn’t be a moderator. He is a guy from game faq’s. He gets all the information he needs served and the only thing he does is to copy-paste those information in a single post.

I know that by writing this Private Message I decrease my or the other people’s chances of becoming moderators rather than increasing them, but I would like you to know the board’s opinion.

 

This Personal Message was sent to YCMaker by GAK in behalf of many YCM members. None of them knows that I was going to send you this PM.

 

I would consider it very helpful if your replied to this message rather than ignoring it. Also, tell me if I should post this in the general forum.

Well, i do not think that you are right because as it is stated in the letter, crab just joined while HORUS and static who know better than him (that is what most people think along with me :P) deserved this more than him.

 

While sushi was away for more than 5 months, he is selected all of sudden to be a mod. how can that happen. even if i wouldn't get selected, where is wolf? i was 100% that wolf would be the one.

Crab know WAY more that Sheo + HORUS, alot more, he made the place better, Sheo + HORUS could have never done that, the date you joined / number of posts, does not give you more knowlegde of Card Making + TCG. Crab know more of the TCG that anyone of the forum.

 

Sushi is great as a mod, if he was away from the forums, does that mean his PC + Photoshop dissapeared...No.

 

Crab + Sushi make great mods.

I never even had heard of this Crab Helmet O.o (and I'm an active member). I realy taught it would be me XD. No I taught DJ would be one and God Gak would be one to.

Look at the Sticky by Crab in the TCG, do you think HORUS / Sheo would have done that, no. Also, it was done before he was mod. He Clearly know more that both of them, go to some discussions, they have been proved wrong. From what I have seen, Crab has never been proved wrong.

 

A grafics mod has to be good in grafics and wise + fair, with free time to know what he is doing. Sushi, has all that. Wolf on the other hand does not have that much free time.

To be honest I don't mind who are Mods. Ask yourself this question "What do I gain out of Being a Mod?" A Fancy Name under your Avatar? Increased Respect? Power? As long as this Forum is kept in Tip Top condition I wouldn't care if a Piece of Dog Turd was a Mod. Just my 2 Cents....

Craby is a very good mod, he took the time without us telling him, and wrote very very long helpful topics on the TCG, personally and no offence to both Static and Horus who i look up to but they wouldnt have done that.

 

but yes i think that sushi shouldn't have been the mod as there are many who are more active then him and could have helped the place better.

You must remember though, YCMaker would not have chosen us to be Mods unless he had a good reason behind it.

Crab Helmet seems much to rude to be a mod, in my opinion. He actively accuses people of knowing nothing about the game, and purposefully makes them look bad when they post. Now, it's not my place to judge the people themselves, but you think he could use a little discretion about it, instead of just putting them down right there in public. Though, he has done many things that benefit the site, also.

I personally think YCMaker chose good mods. While I wanted to be 1, I can see why I wasn't chosen. Sushi and Crab are good mods. While it looks like there are better choices a first, if you look closer, and what they have done, I think you will see they where good choices. Although I think sushi is good, I don't get why he was chosen after he was gone for so long, but w/e, he is doing a good job, so, no problem. I think YCMaker made good choices for mods. Maybe i'll be 1 next time XD

i personally dont care who's mod as long as they control the TCG section because in some threads have arguments regarding yugioh cards which is pretty dumb. Well about the graphic's mod i excpeted somebody else to get it like oldmaster,kizzi,wolf,gak,max and many othyer people.

Yeah, i agree with that. That is very annoying. For example, when you say that i activate snipe hunter's effect and i will toss sillva of the dark world and bring him back he will say "OMG! Are you a n00b? this is a cost!" and the same for the other occasions

I must disagree with this, between my Judai sig which I put almost absolutely no effort into (Well I might have put some effort into it, but meh.) and a signature Wolf did a good while back I won, now think if I had actually seriously tried, you haven't seen my work and therefore can't really say much, and just because I was absent is no reason to suggest that I can't mod worth poop, I have the experience, the knowledge both for GFX and Modding, as well as the fact I'm on quite a lot. I myself have sent a message to YCMaker about the amount of reports lately and got no response, on the other hand I don't believe I deserved to get the spot, but I was chosen and that is all there is to it, infact you are the only person who has even complained about me, so before you start saying things do your research.

 

However the only people who graphically I would say deserve the spot are Tehodis and Wolf, Tehodis and Wolf as far as I know both respect me for my graphics experience and knowledge, so go figure.

Well, yeah, but it has been a looooooooooooooooong time. During your 6 month old absence or so, wolf started making great graphics and the rest. you came here lately and i do not disagree that you make good graphics too. I say that we, the rest of the GFX'ers, can make equivalent graphics if we want it and try it.
