Before I begin, I would just like to say that this idea has been swimming around in my Head on & Off for a while now. I like Constructive criticism. If you don't like it then please tell me what I can do to change it.... *Disclaimer Over*

Okay. Today i'm here to show you a new Monster Type I was Thinking of. "Field Monsters" I know you all hate the same old same old....

Okay if summoned to the Monster Zone it is a "Normal" Monster. You may Summon it to the Field Spell Zone, If you do that the Monster gains an Effect, But this comes at a Risk. The Monster is then Very Vunerable to S/T Removal.

Also I might add that if you Want to use a Field Spell & there is a Monster there, You have to Sacrifice the Monster first.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

RULES

1) A Field Monster cannot be Special Summoned. It counts as your Summon for the turn.

2) Field Monsters cannot Attack or Be Attacked. It is treated as a Field Zone Card

3) To Summon a Field Monster from your hand requires a Discard from your hand. (This is a requirement.

4) To transfer a Field Monster to the Monster Zone or Vice Versa can only be Done in Main Phase 1 & at the cost of 1000 Life Points.

5) A Field Monster can be Tragetted by Spell & Trap Removal while in the Field Zone. If destroyed this way, The Monster is Removed from play.

6) If destroyed in Battle, A Field Monster can be returned to the Field Zone by paying 1000 Life Points.

7) Field Monsters cannot be used for a Tribute Summon.

8] You can only have 1 Field Monster in Play.

I hope this sums up most of the rules of the Field Monsters. :)

I give everyone full permission to use my idea. Credit must be given.... I stress MUST BE GIVEN!

When this card is Summoned, you can treat this card as a Field Spell Card and place this card face-up in your Field Card Zone. While in your Field Card Zone, increase the ATK of all DARK monsters on the field by 700.

Its propably how i would word it.

700 is abit to much, theres an existing one which does 500 i believe, but this has 700 and a monsterness.

Good idea mind ^_^

Cheers Chemical! I always hated Field Spell Cards so I wanted to create a Card that could function as a Monster as well.

I was getting a little peeved at what people were saying about "Nothing Special" & "Nothing new & Exciting" I know they weren't aimed at me at all but I;ve noticed other people having to suffer.... So I racked my brain for days for a new Type of Card and this one came to me in the End. I feel dead proud as well. It's a breath of fresh air.

It's an interesting idea.

Honestly, when I first heard that title, I was think something more like a Trap Monster. Where it's a field card that acts as a monster. Like that card, the Embodiment of something, I can't remember the name to be honest.

My question would be, what about monsters that need tribute? Would they have to sacrifice other monsters first, or would you just play it?

I was curious because at some point during the designing process I figured that there's a possibility of an ability of moving a Field Monster from the Monster Zone to the Field Zone and moving it back to the Monster Zone.

So without those tributes it would be a cheap way to summon monsters, lol

The Only way to get the Monster to the Field Zone is from your Hand. If you wished to summon it normally later then you would have to Trunade it back to your Hand. Also I'm going to add the Rule that the Monster in the Field cannot Stop Attacks from your Opponent.

I understand your fear of Monster Spamming though. Imagine throwing a 3000 ATK Beatstick in there.... *Shudder* I was going to create a Spell Card that would allow any monster into the Field spell but maybe not..... :p

Slayer: I wasn't thinking Deck Masters you know....

New ideas to expand on my theory.

Summoning this Monster to the Field Zone would cost a Discard from your hand.

If the card is destroyed in the Field Zone it is removed from Play

Can be summoned to the Monster Zone during your nexr Standby Phase at the cost of 1000 Life Points

If destroyed while in the Monster card Zone. It can be Special Summoned to the Field Zone with another Tribute

Cannot be targeted or be able to attack while in the Field Zone.

Hope these ideas are ok.

underpowering might seem like a good idea... because if these cards are overpowered, then you have a free monster that cant be attacked....
