This card cannot be destroyed by battle, also any battle damage you take from battles involving this card inflicts equal battle damage to your opponent. If this card has "Number 96: Dark Mist" as an Xyz Material; it gains this effect.
● Once per battle, during either player's turn, when an attack is declaredinvolving this card and an opponent's monster: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; the ATK of the opponent's monster becomes 0, and if it does, this card gains ATK equal to that monster's previous ATK.

It seems really good actually, only downside is that you have a make Dark Mist first. Although if it was 3 DARK Level 3s it could actually see play without Dark Mist tbh, the effect is not bad at all.

I'm right in thinking this has gotten a buff aren't I? Since it does seem a bit more useable now.

 

All we need though is a bloody RUM searcher already.

I think the effect is absolutely hilarious. Making Number 96 isn't that hard in a dedicated Deck, or Frogs, and it'll probably be released alongside Number 65 and C65, so you'll have more incentive to run a Level/Rank 2 oriented Deck that can use Rank-Up Magic.

Battle continues, so it's like Honest, but even more agonizing to the opponent's LP. In addition, regardless of whether it has Xyz Material, it can't die in battle and both players take the Battle Damage.

Ooh, even better. I first read it as the same way Relinquished is written (plus remembering the anime effect).

 

You won't even NEED to use Rank-Up Magic with Number 96 to make it a 1000 ATK monster with Amazoness Sword Woman's effect and inability to die in battle. But if you do use Number 96, it's pure evil.

 

I figured they would be, but I'm not sure what their RL effects are, so I just wagered it'd be worthwhile. Besides, so long as 65 is a Fiend and halfway decent, it can happily use Rank-Up Magic for this regardless of whether its C form is any good.

Art hasn't changed, not surprised. I'm a little disappointed it doesn't have the Swords Woman effect, but this one's pretty boss as well. One of the few Rank-Ups that has an effect worth playing for more than a RUM. A much-needed upgrade on the anime version. By no means meta, but enough to make me want to play the fun deck.

Set colour is purple, right? it'll have a black haze around the monster with the dark purple background.

And yes, it rose above Weiss in terms of cover card.

Not hard really. If Judge Buster is a Fiend he gets even better.
