You can send 1 face-up LIGHT Normal Monster you control to the Graveyard; Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. During your Standby Phase, place Spell Counters on this card equal to the number of "Noble Arms" Equip Spell Cards you control. During either player's turn, when a "Noble Knight" monster you control would be destroyed: Remove 1 Spell Counter from this card; destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card you control instead.[hr]Advisor of the King, and armed
Myrddin was his wizard.
Loyal to Artorigus 'til his capture
Was Myrddin Emrys.
His conjuring knew no bounds, and magic
was his soul.

Week 3, Noble Week, with a peculiar card indeed. This guy, who corresponds to Merlin of Arthurian fables, is a wizard whom supported and aided Arthur 'til his death, which is very well reflected by, not only his Lv5 nature giving more Rk5 monster potential, but also having great support for defending Noble Knights, including himself.

I also made this Custom Image myself, which I think turned out nicely.

IMO 2500 is too much for a card like this. I know of 2 NK builds a rank 4 spam and a beatdown build, both have 0~2 of Laundsallyn, and IMO, Laundsallyn does better things than this card. Both this and Laundsallyn need Medraut to be of good use. This is outmatched by Laundsallyn, only thing it has over him is that you can control more than one, but that in no way helps the deck. Still with this and Laundsallyn the deck can change itself into rank 5 spam, so it at least offer something new. Hope I helped.

Just because you have only seen two different builds does not mean more do not exist. This card would help extremely in a Noble deck and easily would become a staple, especially in my build. Being able to sit on this and a King Artorigus with 3 equips on him would cripple a lot of decks. The card is sick and would be a great addition.

Thanks for the reviews.

Laundsallyn does relatively little to what this card creates in potential. In the many builds I have seen Laundsallyn being used he was little else than a dead draw or a beat stick. This card gives him more playability, and opens Rank 5 Xyz possibilties even more so, while allowing Noble Knights to resist the crippling meta it currently faces to a degree.
