Northern Sage
FIend/Effect Cannot be Normal Summoned unless you control a "Ghostrick" monster (but can be Normal Set). Once per turn: You can change this card toface-down Defense Position. When a "Ghostrick" monster is destroyedby your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your hand in face-down Defense Position, and if you do, draw 1 card. Lonk
I like the draw aspect of it.
Blake
Not totally sold on it because, like Yukionna, doesn't seem to go with the deck's general goal.
Toffee.
Not totally sold on it because, like Yukionna, doesn't seem to go with the deck's general goal. But its more or less just a weird Cyber Dragon, and can let you make plays right away.Despite the fact that's a bit of a stretch. Cute Rotten Yoshika
i think the only notable thing about it is the draw. every deck should have SOME way of drawing, and this deck would only have allure otherwise.
Sora1499
every deck should have SOME way of drawing What makes you say that? Plenty of decks function without any draw engines in them whatsoever.
Toffee.
What makes you say that? Plenty of decks function without any draw engines in them whatsoever. It's for speed.Ghostrick is already, basically, a Johnny.dekSo giving them a card that plays along with it and helps to get them rolling, is always nice....Even if Specter isn't truly needed, its still a nice addition. Cute Rotten Yoshika
What makes you say that? Plenty of decks function without any draw engines in them whatsoever. it is increasingly rare in today's game and decks without draw support will compound whatever problems they have to begin with. unless your deck is the incredible thinning menace, fire fist, its something that should be embraced. Toffee.
Look, the fact he is a Target for Recurring Nightmare is what makes him cool, as you can just keep re-using him all day, erry day.
Cute Rotten Yoshika
the problem with his summoning condition is that its antithetical. the level 1's are supposed to throw themselves on the field to let you make plays. but he does it when another one is killed, and nets you a draw. if he didnt give you the draw, it would be worthless. newhat
I love this card! It lets you defend without losing card presence.
