Bad-People
Jackpot [attachment=37652:Jackpot.jpg] This card can be activated when you have 3000 or fewer life points. Special summon up to 3 ‘Slot Tokens’(Dark/level 2/machine/ATK 0/DEF/1000) in defense mode. Once per turn if you control a face-up ‘Slot Machine’ on your side of the field you can sacrifice one ‘Slot Token’ to roll a six-sided die 3 times. If the result of the rolls is the same twice increase your life points by 1000. If the results of the rolls are the same all three time increase your life points by 3000. Zazubat
The problem with this is the fact that it's luck based. It just isn't a thing YGO should play with ever. Life Points are also something that isn't really a big deal anymore. It does give you 3 Tokens which have no other conditions, which is nice, and the "up to" makes it flexable, though as it's only usable when you're below 3000, it really doesn't matter all too much. You also have the problem that you didn't make this a Continuous Spell, so your OPT clause doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Bad-People
It's luck based because you can get three trys so there's a good chance of getting a positive effect. Also there's a possibility of getting up to a 9000 point increase which is significant enough to warrant some restrictions like dice roll and 3000 and below(27000 all together with three cards, assuming you keep getting your LP down low enough, so I'm also thinking of limiting this). I also understand you argument about the OPT but that's supposed to be the effect of the tokens themselves so you don't need to keep the card on the field. I just wasn't sure how to write it. Tokens don't have effects, only the cards that Summon the Tokens have. There's plenty other cards that do a better job on Life Points if you really needed that. Bad-People
Still, you were able to tell what the card does after reading it the first time so any ruling should be accurate enough. I am willing to change some of it but I want to keep the core of it intact. Summon some tokens, feed them into slot machine, get life points. 宇佐見 蓮子@C94
The best thing about this is the fact that nobody would care about the LP gain and they would just pay attention to the SS effect. To put it simply, you have succeeded in making a comeback card, but it won't be making comebacks the way you wanted to. Basically, people will use the SS effect for Synchro/Tribute/Spam/Fodder to annoy your opponents. Even then, I still would run things like Scapegoat over it, but for a reversal card, it's actually quite good. It does Synchros and if you're mentally unstable you can use Solidarity on them with Machinas and laugh like an evil maniac. The LP gain is luck-based, so that's not really good. Dian Keto is a much, much better heal card so that just shows how much the LP gain sucks. The card would be better if you remove the LP gain altogether, and change the effect so that it SS's monsters equal to the total level of the die roll or something. Bad-People
That's doable I suppose, just as long as I keep the slot machine theme. That point is really important to me for some reason.
