Premier Alexander Romanov
LIGHT/Warrior/Level 4/2000 ATK/0 DEF You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 Xyz Monster you control and 1 monster your opponent controls; that monster your opponent controls loses ?00 ATK for each Xyz Material currently attached to your targeted Xyz Monster. LIGHT/Warrior/Level 5/2000 ATK/0 DEF If you control a monster with 2000 or more ATK, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 monster you control; it gains ??? ATK. Kaito's new toys in Episode 105 that are (shock of all shocks) not Photons or Galaxys. The values are unknown, but I have a feeling these cards are how Kaito kicks #46's ass. Discuss.
evilfusion
Since they didn't use any effects this episode, they're easily forgotten and at least was more creative than Photon Thrasher + Photon Crusher or a similar GEPD Summoning method. They're interesting, for sure, but sort of random. Booster being Level 5 means it combos with Photon Slasher, but it has little synergy with Photons and the like otherwise. Sniper's effect is pretty cool, depending on the exact number. Same with Booster with how much it gives.

Premier Alexander Romanov
Except he used them to summon GEPD. Yes, which means they are now in the Graveyard. So they can activate their effects.

Topdecking GEPD was the quickest way he could get them in the grave.
evilfusion
You're giving a mixed message now. The OP said that Kaito probably wins with them, and you said he Tributed them. Then you said he wants them in the Grave. That's the whole point of the OP's post, too! Those cards are now in the Grave and will probably contribute to Kaito beating Number 46. And Neo Galaxy-Eyes will be involved, no doubt, since that's Kaito's main Xyz ever since he lost his Numbers.

I think these might be Kaito thinking: Well Miseals Dragon seems to be better than mine... so let's rely on stuff other than my dragon's effect to help kill it. Which is at least better than "throw Utopia at something first, figure out a different strategy later" Yuma. This shows that Kaito is trying a different, more indirect approach to countering Misael. Aerion Brightflame
Which is at least better than "throw Utopia at something first, figure out a different strategy later" Yuma. This shows that Kaito is trying a different, more indirect approach to countering Misael. It's also the same thing Shark did ages ago after he lost Leviathan. He decided to start countering Numbers. Which makes Yuma special, in that he's the only one not to try something new that sticks. Since he tried running some stuff in Miseal's first duel, and they've never been seen again. evilfusion
The only defense for Yuma is that the two cards he got before the Misael Duel were god awful. Obviously, to me anyway, the reason he got those two cards was for inner reflection. Astral even explicitly noted one of them is for offense, the other is defense. Yuma chose defense. His method of dealing with his fears and doubts is to cling to what he's afraid of losing and justify it as protecting them. However, this is completely ineffective. Rank-Up Magic and Neo Galaxy-Eyes are really the only cards that directly affect his Overlay Units. By focusing on what he feared fighting the most and using a card that does nothing in any situation EXCEPT against that one strategy (and even then, does nothing except prevent that precise move from happening), it demonstrates that fear cripples him. Had he used Overlay Bullet, that meant he would face fears head-on, with almost reckless abandon, and could potentially overpower his foe by taking the initiative. If he was afraid of Rank-Up Magic, by removing his Overlay Units in an aggressive action, he'd prevent his opponent from using their strategy to full effect and be less overwhelmed by it. But Yuma's preference to defense means he turtles against threats until his opponent reduces their own guard or he get overwhelmed by a relentless offense. So yeah, those two were just mostly plot device Spells meant to make it clear to Yuma how he handles things that bother him. Shark was brilliant, though. He lost, took it badly, and decided that while he wouldn't Duel anymore (at first), he would be prepared to beat the Duelist who beat him. Kaito probably also noticed that his own speed-Summons of Neo Galaxy-Eyes leave it weaker, and he'll need something more than to get around this weakness to fight cards like C107. 玄魔の王
I cannot express how disappointed I am that we got these instead of at least 1 new LV4 Photon Monster to make this guy better. Their effects are really good because of using Galaxy-Eyes' summoning to set them up, but even so there's really not a lot of synergy involving them. Kaito probably also noticed that his own speed-Summons of Neo Galaxy-Eyes leave it weaker, and he'll need something more than to get around this weakness to fight cards like C107. I think you basically deduced the reason these exist. Now watch them never show up again.

玄魔の王
I think you got two characters mixed up. Not really. He learned his lessons from fighting Misael, so he's testing out these new cards and Jinlong just happens to be a good test.
