Parsec, the Interstellar Dragon and Radius, the Half-Moon Dragon

Recommended Posts

In a way, they're a free Sun Dragon, Thunder End, and Galaxy Eyes. And if you have Gagaga, bam. Neo Galaxy.

Free meaning -1, and with Gagaga meaning taking 2 Normal Summons.

Granted, -1 for a Rank 8 isn't bad, but it's not free.

Thunder End is 2 Normal Monsters anyways.

ohlol forgot about that. Well then besides Sun Dragon and the 2 Galaxies, dun really know anything else these 2 can take advantage of. Granted these two are perfect for the Galaxy dragons. Cause y'know, SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE.

Sun Dragon = Hieratic Overlord? Because I first read it as meaning Sun Dragon Inti, which confused the hell out of me.

Radius is too conditional to rely on. If your opponent doesn't have an Xyz, it's a mere Level 4 with weak stats that struggles to do anything towards your Deck goal. There are already a plethora of ways to abusing Level 8 without Radius.

Parsec's ONLY perk is it's searchable by Shining Angel. Otherwise, almost any other Level 8 Light monster fits the bill, or even a card like Beast King Barbaros assists with your "Level 8 without Tribute" desire, and does it better than Parsec because it's not restricted to a combo play, whereas Parsec will be dead in your hand absurdly often. In Galaxy/Photon Decks, Galaxy Knight and Galaxy Wizard are sufficient for Rank 8 spamming, as Knight revives Galaxy-Eyes, and Wizard is a Level 4 with a search effects, or can become Level 8 on its own. Knight is much easier to Normal Summon and has respectable stats and an actual effect for doing so that Parsec badly lacks.

I can see Parsec being cool in a Gimmick Puppet deck unless they have restrictions I forgot about it.

I suppose for Chaos stuff? Because otherwise, Barbaros > Parsec.

The only restrictions off-hand with Gimmick Puppets are that Magne Doll requires you to only have Gimmick Puppets to SS, and Necro Doll only works for Gimmick Puppet Xyz.

Well I guess this has the advantage of an interesting Rank 8 Chaos Engine with them.

I'd rather run Schawrzchild or whatever it's called over Radius. At least the situation of your opponent controlling a 2000+ ATK monster is more likely than an Xyz Monster. Also for Chaos shenanigans.

Probably. Also, since that monster is naturally a Level 8, it can be used for Trade-In and similar. It's a gift and a curse, but definitely less conditional.
