Zazubat Posted June 1, 2013 Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 Intersting card, though I feel like it's pretty situantional to really be worth it. The discard also makes it pretty meh. Giving it the condition makes it slow to use. It's nice that it can take anything lower than it, but it this requires a lot of luck. Since there're mostly Xyz spam these days, I find it hard to really use all that well. Some OCG fixing. Alright, there's no need what so ever to say "During your Main Phase", since you can only activate Ignition Effects at that point. If you meant M1 or something, then I suppose that would make sense. The second problem is the no Summons of that card. You want to point out that you cannot summon monsters with same name, as cards in your hand are not like cards on the field/Grave/banished. That is why OPT on cards like that don't really work, since you could have multiples in your hand. Other than that, it seems fine. I gave it Lion Emperor/Beastlord-like clause as that works like yours would. I would suggest another cost, as I don't recall anything Reptile/Dinosaur related that likes being in the grave. Maybe make it unable to attack for a turn, switch it to DP, make you unable to Summon something. You already have an annoying way to use it, a condition, an only OPT, and it has only 1600 in stats. Therrion Posted June 3, 2013 Report Share Posted June 3, 2013 A good card, Reptile needs all the support they can get. Also, I love that you made it a Reptile instead of a Dinosaur, orelse people would take it a pursue a Laggia train of thought. As a deck constructor, I love any and all support given to semi-unsupported Archetypes/Types. It's a very solid card and love that the discard cost went away. The discard could help with Venom, but eh, I would prefer it help all Reptile archetypes over just one. Would love to NS it, Kage, effect and then overlay King of the Feral Imps.
