evilfusion
You have entered my world, then. First things first, 3 Galaxy Knight is overkill. It's a very nice card, but you are begging to clog with 3 of them. I personally only run 1, but you could run 2 without too many issues. However, that's because you have a bigger issue: You are not running Photon Thrasher. Photon Crusher will take up your Normal Summon, which you want for Galaxy Knight, Galaxy Wizard, or LADD. Thrasher will not, and will be able to combo with Wizard for a Rank 4 (or just be a solid beatstick) or Knight for its effect. Photon Slasher is...rather mediocre. It's even worse than Galaxy Knight in terms of clogging because it relies on a player controlling an Xyz, which is not a guaranteed event. As a Level 5, you can't even use it for Trade-In, and unless you rush into a Rank 8 Xyz, you could end up holding onto it for a while. I assume you're using it for Expedition, or for Rank 5s, and I'll immediately say this...it doesn't work. Worse yet is that unless you have both or an Expedition and this, you can't even combo it very well because it has no synergy with any of the other cards in your Deck. 3 Expedition will clog badly. Since you can only use one per turn, and you need to have a Level 5 or higher Photon/Galaxy, you could easily end up in situations where you will be able to do a ton of moves, but only after fulfilling a specific condition while your Deck hates your guts and gives you more dead draws like Expedition, LADD, or Photon Crusher that don't contribute anything to your situation. Heck, it happens sometimes even if you only run 2 Expedition. I don't use Accel Light at all. It's decent as a tech to grab Galaxy Wizard or Photon Satellite if you use that. You could use it with Crusher, but it doesn't give you enough for the downsides. Being unable to Normal Summon and requiring you to have no monsters makes any combos with Satellite or Galaxy Knight unlikely. The lack of Heavy Storm disturbs me. You should definitely run it. Reckless Greed is typically a 3 or 0 card because of how well copies stack with each other. Running 2 is weird. I'd also encourage something like Solemn Warning and/or Judgment, or Torrential Tributes. They're usually more useful than just the Mirror Forces, and Trap Stun might be unneeded. I'd consider Call of the Haunted, which works amazingly with this type of Deck due to how Trade-In can send Galaxy-Eyes to the Grave. For Extra Deck, you are NEVER going to actually Summon that many copies of specific Rank 8s. If you need all 3 copies of Tachyon and/or Hieratic, you should have lost already. I would usually add a few more Rank 4s for versatility purposes. So...for starters -1 or 2 Galaxy Knight (3 is overkill) -2 Photon Slasher (mediocre, too much clog potential) +2 Photon Thrasher +Heavy Storm The rest really depends on what works for you. I'd drop the Crushers and at least 1 Accel Light, and try to fit in Call of the Haunted and Torrential. Galaxy Zero is also an excellent card at 1 or 2 for the Deck, and I'd probably try to swap out the Trap Stuns for something.
Eury
How many copies of Tachyon and Hieratic should I run, and what Xyz's do you recommend?
evilfusion
2 Hieratic, 1 Tachyon. You can run 2 Tachyon if you have the space. I recommend using Starliege, Blackship, and Photon Pallioperative. If you're not using Satellite (which with Thrasher gives access to Volcasaurus, Tiras, and/or Pleiades), then you can put in more of your choice. I also recommend adding Tragoedias. They're amazing. If not using Call of the Haunted (or even if you do), Gorz is optional. For Rank 8s, I'd run Tachyon, Hieratic, Neo Galaxy, and Giant Killer. Eury
so far -2 Slasher -1 Knight -1 Accellight -1 Expedition -2 Trap Stun +1 Reckless +1 Torrential +2 Call of the Haunted +1 Heavy +2 Thrasher So should I also minus the 3 Crushers and other 2 Expeditions? And what would be the best substitutes?
evilfusion
Definitely keep 2 Expedition. I'd probably drop the Crushers for 2 Tragoedia and another Torrential.
Eury
K. Out of curiosity is there any way to incorporate Gorz? I really like this archetype's concept and if I enjoy running it, I wanna run it irl. Gorz being my favorite card, yeah. :] GORZ IN ALL THE DECKS. But if he ruins the consistency I won't risk it. Updated decklist in op. Edit: Forgot to update Extra, ohwell.
evilfusion
I run him in my RL build, but I only have 1 Tragoedia in RL, and I also use Tour Guide and BLS, so he's not really necessary. Side choice, mostly. I'd recommend playtesting the build for a bit before making further changes. See what works for you, see what doesn't, and if you mention your observations, I can make further recommendations.
Eury
Ok. Thank you for all of your help, I greatly appreciate it. C:
evilfusion
No problem. This IS my trademark deck, after all. (It really is casually referred to as "evilfusion.dek").
Eury
Btw, added Utopia and Emeral to finish the Extra. What are the best cards to side for Galaxies?
evilfusion
I admit Side Decks are not a skill I have, so I probably can't help very much there.
Eury
That's alright. :] When I start testing it I'll find what cripples it the most and side accordingly. Maxx "c" is probably going in I know that much atm, damn E-Drags.

evilfusion
>Evilfusion.dek But your missing the key card behind it: Srsly, that's how the deck got started in the first place O,o Yeah, the original build was focused around that, but that was before Galaxy support, which made the Deck significantly more consistent. The term then became loosely applied to most Photon Decks, although I did more or less assemble a loose criteria of what's required. 1- Galaxy-Eyes is the key monster 2- Photon Sanctuary is used 3- LADD is in there (optional, but if it is and the above 2 are true, it's definitely a candidate) Besides, I'm constantly updating the Deck and only the original build used Precious Cards, and I didn't even consider it the "key component". The variant that got "famous" was just what I called my "Photon Creation" Deck (because Precious Sanctuary was too ambiguous a name)..
Eury
I have never found an instance to use LADD. He's always a dead draw unless I have trade-in or if he's in the grave so Trag can get Rank 8s. Any recommendations on what to do?
Eury
-2 LADD +2 Eatos Eatos works surprisingly well.
Eury
bump. was 2-2 before switching to Eatos. The deck is now 10-2. Eatos is /never/ a dead draw and its absolutely fantastic. So glad I decided to tech him, and imo, gives a little personal touch to the deck. I'm gonna get this deck irl, what I need for the main deck is a little less than $60, and I'm probably going to sell my Big Eye to buy the Side and Extra.
