FINALLY MY HARD WORK HAS PAID OFF. Maybe... [Stardust Succubus]

You can Banish this card from your Graveyard plus 1 other Level 4 Dragon-Typemonster in your Graveyard: Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower LIGHT Dragon-Type monster from your Deck. Its effect is negated until the End Phase. The effect of "Stardust Succubus" can only be activated once per turn.

Nobody knows the trouble I've seen.

Anyway, the only thing that comes to mind on the Banishing factor is le Debris Dragon. I also smell Masked Dragon shenanigans, seeming as how it can fill up the Grave crazy fast, and it's also a target FOR Masked Dragon's effect to top it off. This was really meant as a way to get LIGHTs on the field faster, but it ended up being support for R6 Hieratics, which, while I don't really approve of because Atum exists, could be a double-edged sword for other Decks.

But seriously, this much effort to make a card worthwhile.

On first inspection the card seems to be quite balanced, it wouldn't be considered a useful card to play in terms of attacking, more of the technique like you've described. Dragon Type Decks allude me and LIGHT themed Decks now still confuse me.

I do like the effort you've put into making it work, and if you think you could use it successfully in a Deck and would be happy letting your opponent take advantage of this effect in their Deck then it's all fair game!

Sorry if this critique is a little blasé or general but I've been out of the Yu-Gi-Oh scene for a couple years now. My current Deck is still a Machina theme which takes advantage of Machina Fortress. I used to be good at this sorta thing!

The card seems solid and very much playable. I think it would be used in a future Dragon XYZ Deck moreso than a Hieratic Deck, despite the Level 6 or lower range, most would settle with a free Lv. 4.

My only complaint, however, is "Stardust" in its name, yet it having nothing to do with Stardust Dragon.

The summoned monster can be used to Synchro Summon Stardust Dragon?

In terms of flavour, this card is really misdirected. Not only is a Succubi not a Dragon and more suitably a Fiend (then again, we have Fire Kraken), I do not see how this thing in any concise and reliable shape or form would aid in creating its (presumed) Master that is Stardust Dragon, nor his evolutions. Perhaps you could show me manners in order to do so, which would sell the card a little bit more to me?

As for playability, you're definitely right in saying this provides, primarily, Atum fodder. Again, more reason to doubt whether or not this belongs as a Stardust card, but I digress. You also realize that this would provide BaniDragons additional speed, what with the ability to literally trigger the seemingly staple of the Deck, Eclipse Wyvern, so as to fuel your hand with a potentially much needed REDMD as well as tribute fodder for it?

Basically, I am stumped. While this card might be somewhat of a handful to get out and use to its full fruition, said fruition is potentially broken. I'm not sure if it makes it a good card. It is somewhat slow, but powerful in turn. It is a Lv4 that, with the right circumstances, can set up absolutely hellish combinations that only a well-stocked back row could defend against.

The issue, however, is by attempting to nerf this card any further, you'd make it more or less useless. I'd say you'd best either leave it as it is, or start from scratch f you really want to take another shot at improving the card. While the effect is great, it might be too much.

tl;dr version: Flavour is off, unless justified. It is slow, but can be abusive.

It does work well with Wyvern, but then again, anything that banishes from graveyard does, so we shouldn't scrap banishing in the grave entirely. Though, the Deck doesn't need more ways to banish it, I like this card alot and would like to see it make it.

Though, if you want to make it so it's not abusable with Wyvern, instead of banishing a dead Dragon, make it banish a Level 4 Tuner (since you wanted it with Debris Dragon anyways). To revive flavor, make something to where it goes or infers the going towards to Stardust Dragon. Maybe a "This turn, if Stardust Dragon is Synchro Summoned: Draw 1 card."

I don't see why the other banished monster has to be a Dragon, either. You could make it just any ol' Level 4 monster, especially if you go with Summoning only a Tuner.
