Phantom Pirate Theme

The concept to this theme is looting and Shooting where they keep on stealing your opponents life points and take them as their own.

Phantom Pirate - Rotten Swashbuckler

lv 3 Water

Zombie/Effect

If you control no monsters: you can special summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, inflict 300 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 300.

ATK/1200 DEF/300

 

Phantom Pirate - Soul Cutting Cutlass

lv 3 Water

Zombie/Union

Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "Phantom Pirate" monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. While equipped by this effect, the equipped monster gains the following effect;

* Double the damage dealt by this cards effect and double the amount of life points gained by this cards effect. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.) Once per turn, inflict 300 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 300. You can only have 1 "Phantom Pirate - Soul Cutting Cutlass" in your spell and trap card zone.

Phantom Pirate - Nightmare Parrot

Zombie/Effect

This card cannot be normal summoned or set, this card can be special summoned by selecting 1 Spell or Trap on your opponents side of the field and returning it to their deck. Once per turn, inflict 300 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 300.

Phantom Pirate - Skull Cannon Blaster 

lv 3 Water

Zombie/Effect

While this card is face up on the field double all damage dealt by the effects of "Phantom Pirate" monsters you control, but all "Phantom Pirate" monsters you control cannot declare an attack. Once per turn, inflict 300 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 300.

Phantom Pirate - Skull Mariner

lv 4 Water

Zombie/Effect

Once per turn, while you control no other monsters: special summon 1 level 4 or lower Water Zombie-Type monster from your deck excluding "Phantom Pirate - Skull Mariner" with a ATK or DEF that's 1000 or less. Once per turn, inflict 400 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 400.

Phantom Pirate - Des Hook

lv 4 Water

Zombie/Effect

Once per turn, you can switch this card to defence position to destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. Once per turn, inflict 400 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 400.

Phantom Pirate - Wooden Leg

lv 4 Water

Zombie/Effect

While this card is face up on the field: Once during either turn, all other "Phantom Pirate" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, inflict 400 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 400.

Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card to inflict 900 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 900. Once per turn, inflict 300 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 300.

Phantom Pirate - Black Beard

Rank 4 Water

Zombie/Xyz/Effect

2 Level 4 "Phantom Pirate" monsters

While this card if face on the field other "Phantom Pirate" monsters you control cannot be targeted for an attack or for a card effect. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card to inflict 800 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 800 if you use this effect: this card cannot attack this turn. Once per turn, you can inflict 400 points of damage to your opponents life points and increase your life points by 400. You can only have 1 "Phantom Pirate - Black Beard" on the field.

Phantom Full Force Fire

Spell Card
Inflict damage to your opponents life points equal to the combined level and rank of all "Phantom Pirate" monsters you control times 200, during the turn you activate this card you cannot declare an attack this turn.

 

Skeleton Mimic

Spell Card

Discard 2 "Phantom Pirate" monsters from your hand: draw 2 cards and inflict damage to your opponents life points, equal to the combined level of the discarded monsters level times 100 of damage to your opponents life points. You can only activate "Skeleton Mimic" once per turn.

 

Bone Burning Return
Trap Card

Activate this card when your opponent destroys a "Phantom Pirate" monster: Special summon the destroyed monster to your side of the field and inflict 200 points of damage to your opponents life points times the level of the destroyed monster.

 

Skeleton Key of Sealing
Continuous Trap

This card is also treated as a counter trap. When your opponent activates a card effect while you control a "Phantom Pirate" monster: Pay 4000 life points to negate the activation of that card and destroy it.

These cards make me want to play solely so I can keep saying "arrgh!"

 

One problem I have is that skeleton key trap. That thing seems like it will kill you more then anything. I also doesn't like that its both a continuous AND counter trap. :P

 

 

Overall, a pretty fun looking deck type.

Overall, a pretty fun looking deck type.

Though Skellington Key was more so designed so that if they want to use it again they would have to keep their effects of stealing life points on a strong flow, where 4000 makes it so it quite limited to use as a powerful trap card.
