If this card attacks an opponent's monster; this card gains 1000 ATK during the Damage Step only. If this card is attacked by an opponent's monster; switch this card to Defense Position and it gains 1000 DEF during the Damage Step only.[hr]Flavour Music - Valkyria Chronicles III Main Theme
One of the Valkrie, she wields a sword of fierce and dark fire. While comparably weak to other allies and adversaries, her true strength lies in this very sword: should she strike or to be struck, it will flame up and brilliantly - its searing flames can fend off many a foe.

I was inspired by Valkyrie Knight when making this card. Not sure about whether or not it would be competitive or not, just thought it'd be nice to make. Also, this is a late card, I apologize ^^;

While I am not really sure how this relates to Valkyrie Knight, it is a nice card nonetheless. It's simple effect is well...effective. It is nice to see a card that is actually concerned with battle than all this special summoning going around. I don't see anything overly wrong with the card, although I don't see it seeing much play if it were to be introduced into the game. Speed is the main factor of the meta nowadays, and this card focuses on strength, which takes second fiddle. But as a whole, it is a solid card.

As renegade said, it's a nice card that doesn't try too hard and has a somewhat interesting effect. As a booster filler, it would be pretty good. The flavour always helps with a card like this, so it's great to have that there. It isn't fast enough or disposable enough to be used in the meta, but it's still an effect that I'm surprised hasn't been seen IRL. If this had been released 6 years ago, it would've been awesome.

This card is obviously not for the meta, and will be approached from my casual point of view.

It would be interesting as a UFO Turtle target, extended it's reach to essentially a 2000/2000 beater that won't cost you battle damage unless your attack target gets bigger then it was upon attack declaration (due to Ego Boost, for example). Other then that, a strong Lv. 4 Warrior for a casual deck using Warriors and Equip Spell Cards. It's nice to see a card that is not hellbent on becoming played by everything, and just as a casual card.
