When your opponent activates a monster effect: Detach 1 Xyz Material from a monster you control; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster.

It's a Divine Wrath, but is actually searchable.
Hear me out for a second; More often then not, an Xyz monster just needs to use it's effect at least once in order to fulfill what you intended for it to do. As such, you are usually left with at least 1 Xyz Material. No, this isn't a bad thing, nor am I implying it. I'm just saying that given the fact you will almost always be guaranteed to pay it's cost without that much of a worry; You basically have a free Divine Wrath.
I dunno', I just think this card is pretty interesting.

It's actually quite amazing.  Don't know why people don't use this card in Xyz-heavy decks.

It's even more free if you have a Pearl/Gagagigo. I mean, it's not like they're gonna use those materials for anything.

The downside for it is it's a dead draw if you don't have an Xyz with a Material or a method to Xyz. While Divine Wrath has the same issue, you're more likely to be able to control having a card in your hand than you are able to control having an Xyz Material.

 

It's good for what it does, though.

Especially good for Battlin' Boxers; after all, DA YOKE does like getting his materials detached...

 

Plus it has a lot of use in this monster heavy meta (Prophesies excluded, although a lot of their pushes for game come from High Priestess).
