You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Xyz Monster. When you do: You can Special Summon 1 Xyz Monster from your Graveyard, except the Tributed monster, but its effects are negated and its ATK is halved and it cannot be used as an Xyz Material. When this card destroys a mosnter by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Level 9 monster from your hand, ignoring its Summoning conditions, but its effects are negated, and its ATK and DEF become 0. When this card in your possession is sent to the Graveyard: Add 1 Level 9 monster from your Deck to your hand.

Hmm...

It is a while since I've seen a good ol' insect nowadays, that isn't among the common rabble of the Inzektors. I'm glad to see one, actually, it makes for quite the nice change.

The Summoning Clause is a little bit unfair in my opinion. This, a normally 2-Tribute Monster, lets you Special Summon it at the cost of an Xyz Monster, but then you also get to Special Summon another Xyz monster? I know what you're getting at, more fodder for another of these insects, but when a monster that is Normally 2-Tributes is able to Special Summon itself for one, as well as bring out another monster, it just seems like unfair advantage. Two fixes I can suggest are either make it a Normal Summon rather than Special Summon, or ditch bringing out an extra Xyz monster.

The second effect I am more so okay with. It brings out a Level 9 during the Battle Phase with 0 ATK, so you can't abuse that ability. It also serves for sound Xyz Summoning, which ties into your later card. Also, if you use that Level 9 with two Level 1s or a Level 2 for Synchro purposes, this opens access to Celestial Dragon. The reason I don't see this as unfair is because Level 9 monsters can lead to dead hands more often than not, this just alleviates this issue.

The last search effect is pretty nice, nothing Special though, just lets you fish for a replacement XD

Overall it is good, but that first effect needs a touch. Otherwise, I'm glad to see pure-blooded insects again.

I dunno if you missed it, but it halves the ATK of the Xyz Monster, and most Xyz Monsters are generally useless without Xyz Materials. I might make it a Normal Summon though.

I know that, but I'm not making an issue about the Xyz Monster's potential as an attacking body, but as fodder - if you have, let's say Caus the Shadow Monarch, you've opened up a pretty unfair combo thanks to this monster's clause.

Because you totally cannot revive an Xyz Monster that can be used as Xyz Material for something (like Utopia for Utopia Ray / Utopia Ray Victory / Utopia Ray V or a Rank 5 / 6 to get a Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger etc. etc.)

Other than that, the card is fine, given how you actually have to Summon the Level 9 from your hand with its effect, so you can't just go and Summon this, run something over, get a Level 9 from your Deck etc. etc.

Hm, that is maybe a problem. I'll make it so it cannot be used as an Xyz Material.

EDIT: Put it up with the new clause.
