Bujintei Susanowo

Level 4 "Bujinmonsters
This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; take 1 "Bujin" monster from your Deck, and either add it to your hand or send it to the Graveyard. You can only control 1 "Bujintei Susanowo".

Ultra or Ultimate, then.

Interesting that it kept its phonetic name.

Still the cooler Bujin boss.

Also, new terminology for the Official Card Grammar. Lovely.

Discuss.

I dunno, I really like the other Xyz...

But this guy is seriously cool. Being able to attack every monster once each is actually a really, really cool ability. Combine with Honest for lols and fun.

If they have a monster with 1600 or more I think, and you play Honest, the Ojama Trio, and use the piercing guy they have, or some other way to pierce, you can win just by that. Plus, if you got other guys on the field, you can always go for direct attack, and you can use Black Garden as well or another Ojama Tiro. Of course Habakiri makes it much easier as well.

Bujintei instead of Bujin Emperor is cool. I preferred Susano'o over Susanowo though. Ah well. He's really flippin good, but a bit winmoar and not the deck's main wincon. Funny, at first we though that Bujin would be all about getting out Susano'o ASAP, but we couldn't have been further from the truth.

I don't think so. The 2400 really helps getting over more things, and the fact that it can add directly to the hand without discarding is very helpful. On top of that, if you get this guy out, you can plop a Bujin in the Graveyard when you use it's effect, instead of having to wait for Yamato to get it out. Yamato is still the thing to focus on, but you should also consider using this as well. On top of that, using Rise to get this card, and getting out Yamato so you have both feels amazing.

Which certainly does happen, just not often.

That man is a poser. Though, I will admit, character development > killing 3000 guys by yourself without so much as lifting a finger.

Bro, this guy is the greetest swordsman who ever lived. He could do 3 times what that other loser can do.

Susanowo is the literal rendering of the Kana, and prevents people from saying his name as "Suh-saw-new". Bujintei sounds great, I love how Japanese flows off the tongue. If I build these, I will play all my games in Japanese. I will invent a summon chant for this guy if I have to.

Yeah, he's not the main wincon of the deck, but having 1 doesn't hurt, and it's more fun to win with him.

You want to run more than 2, being able to bring out one of these with Rise is priceless.
put something else in, 3 is a bit overkill.
This is the thing though: I run like all the junk that a good little YGO player should run, so it's like, just run another Susanowo lol.

*insert generic complain about the name change here*

Yes, it might sound the same, but it looks awful now.

You really don't need to go for this a lot, a field of Yamato + Mikazuchi is usually better. And generally you are not going to summon the Relics either. It does works wonders as a game finisher with Habakiri/Honest though, it has won me a fair share of games.
