some LIGHT Rock-Type cards *guard beast fixed*

I was 3/4 asleep when I typed up guard beast's text before: it was supposed to activate from the hand, not be an "infinite" source of negation. Now its fixed.

This card is always also treated as Rock-Type. When your opponent activates a spell, trap, or card effect that targets or that would negate the activation and/or effect of a monster you control while this card is in your hand: you can shuffle 1 Rock-Type monster from your graveyard into the deck except "Crystaline Guard Beast"; special summon this card from your hand and negate that activation and if you do, destroy that card.

 

This was meant to stop cards like number 11: big eye and that mermail card whose name I forget that card negate the effects of everything with less ATK then itself but I didn't want to to be too situational.

 

I'm thinking about maybe upping the cost to use this card's effect. Possibly making you shuffle a card from your hand as well but I'm not sure.

This card is always also treated as Rock-Type. Once per turn: you can discard 1 Rock-Type monster; activate 1 of these effects.
*Increase this card's level by up that discarded monster's level in the graveyard. *Target 1 other face-up monster you control; increase that target's and this card's level each by up to half that discarded monster's level in the graveyard (rounded up).

 

Xyz summoning, enough said.
