キリト
So, recently I began using a Dragon Ruler Deck on YGOPRO. It's nice and all (that is, broken as all hell, since they are Dragon Rulers), but one thing that I always wondered was why the Dragon Rulers lack a boss monster. So, why not make my own? Here: Effect: 2 Level 7 Dragon-Type monsters When this card is Xyz Summoned: Add 1 Dragon-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. When a Dragon-Type monster is Special Summoned to your side of the field, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Target up to 3 of your banished monsters and return those targets to the Graveyard. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can banish 2 Dragon-Type monsters from your hand or Graveyard to Special Summon this card to your side of the field in face-up Attack Position. When this card is Special Summoned this way, return it to the Extra Deck during your opponent's next End Phase. So, comments, fixes and etc. are all welcome. Sander
Yeah, great job, give a boss to one of the most broken archetypes currently released. Perfect logic, mhmmmmmmmmmmmm. Really, this section is meant for Realistic Cards. Hell, even Konami wouldn't make something this broken (I hope), so why do you think that this is even remotely realistic? Oh yeah, let's not forget the fact that how broken this is. I mean, it's a searcher for Dragon Rulers that also recycles your banished monsters so when you SS a Dragon so you could SS EVEN MORE Dragons to go into EVEN MORE Rank 7's. And it has a revival effect? Meh, that's not too ba-a-a-a...it banishes Dragons from your Grave, go figure. tl;dr: Don't design cards for an already broken archetypes, ESPECIALLY boss monsters for an already broken archetype. OK, yeah, DRs are broken, I know. But, honestly, I could've seen this happening (which is why I made the card). Now, as to its brokenness, well... there's not much I can say. If there's any way of making this somewhat less broken, I'd appreciate any advice. And, just a question: in the likely event that the Rulers get limited come September, would this remain this broken? Toffee.
To be fair, Zanda, literally the main issue with this card is that it very easily enables you to go into a 2nd copy of itself, then into a 3rd, and another Rank 7, and so on, and so on, for literally no effort what so ever. Coupled with the fact it only needs 2 Materials just reinforces this, and blatantly declares itself as an overpowered card. While it's nice that TC is trying to make a boss for Rulers, the problem is; This is absolutely NOT how one should do it. Sander
And, just a question: in the likely event that the Rulers get limited come September, would this remain this broken? If Konami decides to limit the Dragon Rulers for some god awful reason, then this will be mediocre at best, since Dragon Rulers are only a deck because the baby rulers exist. So, if they limit Redox, Blaster, Tidal and Tempest, you will have to jump trough so many hoops just to Summon this. It's more than likely that the babies get hit instead of the big dragons, but then this might still be considered as broken as it allows you to fetch a Dragon, then recycle recycle recycle. Really, the only way to guess the brokeness of this card is to see how Dragon Rulers get hit. Until then, this remains utterly broken, and there's no real way to balance it, other than making it require 3 Materials, but even then, it's too good.
