It's actually shaping up to be my favourite side card this format. I mean, given the logical meta decks are going to be: Fire Fist, Mermails, Bujin and Tempest Drags. What it does to each of the decks: Mermails. Nothing really. Fire Fists: Prevents damage step actions with Tenken, as well as against 3 Axis, doubling up as Threatening Roar due to the Restriction Spirit places that only Beast-Warrior's can attack the turn you use it. Tempest Drags: They can't make Varanjana. Or any of the Dragunity Synchro's, or Atum, or get out an easy REDRUM. Basically it seals the decks plays. Bujin: Stops all of the Relics from being able to protect Yamato. Not to mention, in a Rank 4 deck, by calling Dinosaur, you get access to the Evozars.Which means Dolkka who is able to seal out Fire Fists, and I think Mermails to an extent, and Laggia who is Laggia. (Which has tested great in Gadgets) It's also got usage in post SHSP Bujin iirc due to Miza. It's amazingly versatile in what it can do nowadays, and it's gone from being bad and gimmicky, to a very decent sideboard option. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In Gadgets, this can also be used to dodge System Down/Chimeratech Fortress, which is really nice. Against Warrior decks, this made their Excalibur OTKs pointless. Darthakin Posted August 20, 2013 Report Share Posted August 20, 2013 It can also be used to VERY easily bring out "Raviel"; it works especially in a mokey mokey deck, I've noticed. 1 human wave tactics, 1 dna surgery, and 1 limit reverse, and you get uria, Add in mokey mokey smackdown and some spells for hamon, and dna surgery -> Fiend allows you to summon Raviel.
