Sander
Thunderous Dragohunder Thunder / Xyz / Effect 2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 Level 4 LIGHT Thunder-Type monster in your Graveyard with 1550 or less ATK; add it to your hand, and if you do, you can Normal Summon 1 Level 4 LIGHT Thunder-Type monster from your hand, except cards with the same name as the card added by this effect. You can only activate the effects of "Thunderous Dragohunder" once per turn. 2100 / 1200 So yeah, when I saw Sleepy's (Akari Akaza's) thread in Graphic Showcase, I found this image. As you can see, it is different, because I had to crop it a bit before so I could fit it into this template, then used .joke's holo sheet to change the card into a Secret Rare. Anyways, about the card. I'm feeling that at the moment, it's pretty much crazy over the top, even with the once per turn effect, since this can be made pretty much with no set-up whatsoever, aka Batteryman AAA (use Batteryman AAA that you obviously searcher with Thunder Sea Horse, obvs during the next turn and Xyz into this, then either return a Thunder Sea Horse or a Batteryman AAA, Summon Ma/Pahunder, use their effect, and so on and so on). Any ideas to help me change this card so it will not enable that many shenanigans? EDIT 1: Changed ATK to 1550 or lower, made the effect OPT only (no multiples etc.) and you cannot Summon the card that you added or cards with the same name. Aix
Yeah, it's really broken in the way that it sort of loops with monsters that can give extra Normal Summons. Make it only add monsters with 1550 or less ATK, then upgrade the clauses to "monsters with that name cannot be used for the rest of this turn" and "This effect of "Thunderous Dragohunder" can only be activated once per turn" and perhaps make it also banish a monster from your Graveyard with less than 1550 ATK when it's all over. Yeah, that's a lot of restrictions, but it removes all abusability and the last bit might make you think if you really want to because your monsters are no good banished. Sander
Cards edited. Did some changes, OPT only, so no multiple Dragohunders, cannot add anything higher than 1550, so no recycling Thunder Sea Horses or TKRO's etc. etc. and cannot Summon the card you added or cards with the same name. Darthakin
Hmm... I have a question. Why 1550? (I'm not that familiar with Thunder-Types for the record.) The version of the card I can see right now, is ok. You can't spam his ability, nor can you use it to draw in a stronger Thunder type (summoned skull is a thunder type I think) Thirdly, I think he should have something of a move to "do" something if he's sent to the graveyard. For example being able to special summon one of the monsters added by his effect, or rather the opposite, and making a drawback when he;s destroyed. I'm not sure of that, but I really do think that that is something *I* *I I I I I I I I II I ********************* feel like it's missing.
Sander
Hmm... I have a question. Why 1550? (I'm not that familiar with Thunder-Types for the record.) I just said in the post before yours that it prevents you from recycling cards like Thunder Sea Horses, which is the main searcher for the Hunder deck etc. etc. The version of the card I can see right now, is ok. You can't spam his ability, nor can you use it to draw in a stronger Thunder type (summoned skull is a thunder type I think) Thirdly, I think he should have something of a move to "do" something if he's sent to the graveyard. I'm not sure of that, but I really do think that that is something I feel like it's missing. It already got added enough drawbacks with the last edit to make it balanced, but Special Summoning the card added with its effect if it's destroyed defeats the purpose of its drawback all together.
