Noka
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 Machine-type monsters with different names from your Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned in any other way, it cannot attack your opponent directly. Once per turn during your Standby Phase: target 1 Machine-type monster on your side of the field; Destroy that monster and activate one of the following effects:● Until the End Phase, this card cannot be targeted by card effects.● Declare a monster level; this card's level becomes the declared level, and if you do: You can also Special Summon 1 monster of the same level from your hand.If this effect cannot be activated: banish this card. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack. Meant to be a giant beatstick for Machine-heavy decks. Not too sure on the OCG, but then again, I haven't really made many custom cards, so there is that. Its huge downsides (being banished if its effect can't activate, or being destroyed if it's special summoned any other way other than its own effect) are meant to balance out how powerful it is. Literally any critiques are welcome, since as mentioned, I have not done this in a while, so I'm probably out of touch with it.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
I think you may have watered it down a bit too much and made it too docile. Gadgets can easily get this out, but that's about it (you want to keep your Geargias/Fortresses in the Graveyard to abuse them later). It has too many drawbacks that essentially make it worthless, especially the part where it skips the next Battle Phase if you attack with it, which kind of defeats the purpose of making a beatstick anyway. Anyways, OCG fix time. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 Machine-type monsters with different names from your Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned in any other way, destroy it during the End Phase. Once per turn during your Standby [acronym="Conditions are always followed by a colon"]Phase:[/acronym] Target 1 Machine-type monster on your side of the [acronym="Selecting a target is considered an action. Therefore, it is followed by a semi-colon."]field;[/acronym] Destroy that target and activate one of the following effects: ● Until the End Phase, this card cannot be targeted by card effects. ● Declare a monster level: This card's level becomes the declared level, [acronym="Since the second effect is reliant on the first, you need to add "and if you do" to make it an optional effect."]and if you do:[/acronym] You can also Special Summon 1 monster of the same level from your hand. If this effect cannot be activated: banish this card. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack, and if this card inflicts damage to your opponent's life points, skip your next Battle Phase. Noka
Hm, very true. Not much of a beatstick if it has so many limitations...alright then. Changed it so that if it's Special Summoned in any other way other than it's own effect, it can't attack directly, instead of it being destroyed during the End Phase. I also changed it so that other monsters can't declare an attack if it's on the field...should that be changed to something like "Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack unless it's a direct attack"? That way you wouldn't be stuck with having SS'd it and then having no way to damage your opponent, since he can't attack directly then and other monsters can't attack due to his effect.Took into account the OCG changes as well. Maeriberii Haan
Anyway, after a bit of skimming through the effect, I think the pseudo maintenance cost's wording is a bit off. It implies that you must destroy a Machine-type monster on your side of the field during the standby phase, including this card. Or maybe it's intentional on your part. The targetting immunity should last until your opponent's end phase though, since I don't really think the current effect is a good payoff for the effort to summon and maintain this card. Also, as for the last part of the effect, I think it's fine as it is now, since it prevent's OTKing using this card.
