I've been watching Yugioh from a long time ago when I was a kid, I'm now 15 years old. I just watched the main series and GX, but never liked 5d or Zexal. I always like the classical things. Hopefully, we will accept you into our community, but there are an unhealthy number of people do not take well to newcomers that you should not get too worked up over. If you keep an eye out for what has happened to Yugioh recently (if you're into the cardmaker thing like 99% of all new people are), you shouldn't find yourself having as many problems as you would with the new pace of the game, new card grammar, and new card types. You don't really have to watch the new shows to keep up to date on the card game. If you're not into the cardmaker, like pretty much every decent member of this community, then the forum obviously offers other things as well.
