First Xyz of the Card Maker [Galactic General - Agracron the Adamant]

... Yeah, this is more or less just me dicking around with the new Xyz Template of the Card Maker, but WHO CARES?! W00000T, XYZ!!!




2 Level 6 monsters
Once per turn, during either player's turn, when the effect of a monster on the field is activated: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate that monster's effect, and if you do, halve that monster's ATK and DEF, then take damage equal to that monster's current ATK or DEF (whichever is higher).




I know there are ways for me to make this more balanced somehow....

Don't worry about balance too much in this case. It's pretty much a Photon Strike Bouncer that traded 50 ATK for the hability of being revived by Heraldic Beast Unicorn.

 

It's a solid card, just as much as Photon Strike Bouncer is. It also is consistent enough since most monsters have higher ATK than DEF.

You could even get away with halving both, especially because it's not adressed what happens when the monster has the same ATK and DEF (as much as it's aparent that you get to choose).
