Blaze, The Burning Dragon Revolter - The Dragon Revolution has begun!

When your Opponent Special Summons a FIRE or Dragon-type Monster: You may Special Summon this card (From your Hand) This card cannot be Banished (anywhere). If an Opponent's Monster Effect destroys card(s) you control: you may Discard a FIRE or Dragon-type Monster; add those card(s) to your Hand. When this card battles a FIRE Dragon-type Monster, this card gains 500 ATK and DEF. You can only control 1 "Blaze, the Burning Dragon Revolter".

Note: This is supposed to be a Super Rare card.
I made this card (and am working on an entire Dragon Revolter set) to be Counteracting the Dragon Rulers (as the name suggests, they are revolting against the Rulers) Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. But if you say anything about OCG Grammar, I will shoot you with my Anti-OCG Missiles. Survivors will be shot again. (I've been checking OCG Grammer for a while now. So I know what it actually is)

My only gripe this time would be your excessive capitalizations and overuse of "may". I doubt we have official cards in PSCT that use "may" in preference of "can". It doesn't affect the overall intentions of the card's effect though.

 

Other than that, this card appears that it's simply tailor-made to counter its E-Dragon counterpart, but not the entire strategy of the E-Drags in general. Even while this card is out, the rest of the E-Drags are still capable of searching, Special Summoning, and wrecking things with Rank 7 Xyz.

 

So rather than revolting against the Dragon Rulers, I see this as their estranged cousins who don't agree with their methods, but are still plotting their empire's downfall.

I have plans for 3 Other ones made to Counter the other Dragon Rulers and Light and Dark ones to Counter Chaos Dragons LADD. Then I also have a Baby to make Synchros and to stop their draw methods and the Spell/Traps will also be set up to destroy the Dragon Ruler's entire theme as well as supporting this theme. (Also, all of the Revolters are going to be set up that they will end up 300 ATK stronger then the Rulers when they battle them)

Anyone think this will work against the Dragon Rulers?

No offense, but if this was designed as an anti-card to Dragon Rulers; This isn't how you would do it.
Not saying you should change everything about the card, but like...
You have a little too much emphasis on Blaster alone, when they are fully capable of doing various other tricks to get around a card like this. I mean, if your looking for something along those lines, then try looking at Trifortressops for inspiration.

As aforementioned, this is a card made to take on Blaster. The set will be against the Dragon Ruler's. Each of the main Dragon Revolters will be against the Dragon Ruler. (Each will have Can be SS'd when Opponent Special Summons a [Insert attribute of card] or a Dragon-type Monster. Cannot be Banished (anywhere) and When it attacks [insert Attribute of card] Dragon-type Monster, it gains 500 ATK)

That maybe could work as a Support for them because the Dragon Revolters are actually made to be Dragons as well. (The storyline I'm creating for them is that they have found that the Rulers of the Dragons who they once served have become Tyrants of sorts, so they are now rising against them and are willing to work with non-Dragons to fight against the Rulers in an attempt to defeat them)

Well, I made the effect to "you can", so if YOU S. Summon a dragon-type monster, you don't have to use his effect, Which works out.

That is a good thing. I'm also looking at I may look at put an effect in that supports the Revolters not just an effect that Counter's the Rulers as well.

 

The OCG is so-so, but not horrible either.

Would "Every time an opponents monster is banished, the equipped monster gains 500 ATK and DEF" work?

 

Dragon Rulers do tend to ban... a lot.

 

And a support is meant to aid and not have  a really damaging effect. So i don't know.

The main supports the Revolters will need right now actually is more Anti-Destruction and Draw support. Maybe also something to stop them from Xyz Summoning but beyond that the ATK/DEF that I'm planning for them will mean they will already be able to wipe out their Counterparts (and they keep the ATK bonus too) I dont want the Revolters to be big in ATK/DEF but cant protect themselves very well.

 

I'm all for others helping in making cards as well, but lets also try to keep the Support cards based around taking out Dragon Rulers (and maybe a few other Top Tier decks as well, but mainly the Rulers). Also, support cards cannot be able to be used in Dragon Rulers, like how the Revolters cannot be Banished which means the Rulers cant just use them to Special Summon themselves.
