I decided to take a crack at a monster that uses Ice Counters. I've made a couple before because I think they could use some more cards that make use of them.

 

Also for anyone who wants to know where I got his name from, gletscher means glacier in German.

That said, stats are relatively decent considering this card's Xyz Material requirements and the effect is plain and simple. (Could setup for cards that use Ice counters; i.e. Cold Enchanter's ATK gaining effect or use Ice Master to nuke the field; assuming you don't mind losing this card since it will have a counter itself)

Thanks for the feedback and the OCG correction. I have redone the card's OCG so that it's now in the correct format. I'm still trying to get the hang of it because the last time I made cards the OCG was still using the old format (i.e. before all the colons and semi-colons).

For a 3-monster investment, it does not accomplish much. 2600 ATK is decent, the extra damage is minor, and you can use it to drop Snowdust Dragon fast, but if you have three monsters you can make Ouroboros or something. This needs to inflict a much larger amount of damage, or do something with Ice Counters. Lowering the ATK significantly and making it 2 Materials could also work.

Like above user said, although it's good; the Ice counters don't accomplish much aside from dealing your opponent 800 damage (perhaps make it 800 per Ice counter or something); or have it decrease the opponent's ATK by some amount. Or for the amount of work needed to call this out, another effect may be sufficient (though at the moment, can't think of an ideal one that'll fit; it's at your discretion).

 

As for the OCG, you're not the only one.

I tweaked the cards effect so that now card's with Ice Counters cannot attack or change battle position, it's burn effect is increased from 800 to 1000, and now it only puts Ice Counters on your opponent's monsters.

Now it's worth the effort needed to summon this (can use this with Ice Master to wipe the opponent's field out now w/out worrying much).

If you don't plan on doing it, the burn damage is sufficient enough now (and preventing attacks/changing Battle Position is good; especially since it's reflective of reality)
