Need help putting an idea for an effect into actual TCG text.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this. But I think I'm okay. Anyways, this was just an idea I had for a monster card to match one of my creature concepts. Now I'd say I'm really gonna need some help re-wording this thing into actual TCG game text. This is a monster card by the way.

The effect in a nut shell...

1.This card can only be summoned during your second Main Phase, in face up attack position.

2.At the start of your opponent's Battle Phase, place a marker/counter (or something else? Not sure which term should be applied. Also can this Marker/Counter require a unique name, like Lock Counter?) in each of your opponents empty zones.

I want these zones to be rendered unusable by the player. And be basically permanent.

3.If this card is ever banished, or otherwise destroyed by your own card effects remove these Makers/Tonkes (whatever they are)

4.At the end of your opponents turn; banish this card until the start of your opponent's next Battle Phase.

Mmm...eloquent.

Basically this monster flickers on and off the field but since it's never on the field during your battle phase you can't attack with it. And since it's only on the field during the the first turn you played it, that's your only chance to tribute/overlay/synchronize it. As to not abuse it's main effect. Which is...

locking down your opponent's unoccupied zones temporarily, unless they choose to destroy it. Then the zones remain locked.

I'm not sure if this is the right section, but I will try to help you with your effects anyways.

Hmm. How about this:

1. This card can only be Special/Xyz/etc. Summoned during your Main Phase 2.

2. At the start of your opponent's Battle Phase: Choose any number of your opponent's unused Monster Card Zones and Spell & Trap Card Zones; while this card is face-up on your side of the field, those Card Zones cannot be used.

3. During each of your opponent's End Phases: Banish this card, until your opponent's next Battle Phase.

A problem I see with this version of the effect is that you will be able to pick different Zones during each of the opponent's Battle Phases. Is that how you want it to work, or it should be able to choose the Card Zones just once?

First off, thanks your time.

Hmm...

Yeah, actually I would like to render all their empty zones unusable every time the effect activates. An then have them "permanently" (or just really hard to undo) locked if the opponent chooses to destroy the monster before it's able remove the locks through banishment which it does to itself every turn. And I want this to be the opponent's choice.

My idea was to pressure the opponent to either fill their zones up, or not attack that monster that turn, for fear of locking up their zones.

I know it sounds over powered but I figured once I get the wording figured out, I could come up with a way to balance it. Maybe it locks everyone's unused zones? Oh! I Kind of like that.

Also I wanted something actually filling the space, perhaps a counter or maybe face down cards? Something that could not be tributed, or targeted. But could be destroyed, kinda like useless garbage taking up space. Which is what gave me the idea in the first place since the creature creates lot of garbage an then clears it all away. Yeah, I know this is really convoluted. Sorry.

In the current TCG, it would probably be something like this:

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) during your Main Phase 2 in Attack Position. At the start of your opponent's Battle Phase; place "Lock Counters" in each of your opponent's empty Monster Card zones. As long as this card remains face-up on the field; your opponent cannot use the selected zones with "Lock Counters" in them. At the End Phase of your opponent's turn; banish this card until the start of your opponent's next Battle Phase.

Write the card however you want. The written "voice" for effects in Yugioh keeps changing and changing that I do not believe it matters so long as it is coherent (except in peculiar cases where the exact wording matters for gameplay mechanics ie. "Can only be Special Summoned by" vs "Cannot be Special Summoned except by").

Which is why they're standardizing and clarifying things with PSCT. "Can only be Special Summoned by..." becomes "Must first be Special Summoned by..." while "Cannot be Special Summoned except by..." becomes "Must be Special Summoned by... and cannot be Summoned by other ways." Of course, for unique effects with no cards to cross-reference with, you're given slightly more freedom.
