This card can only be special summoned, from the hand, when your opponent attacks you directly with a dark type monster with 2000 or more attack, then end the battle phase.

This card can only be Special Summoned (from where?) when your opponent declares a Direct Attack with a DARK monster with 2000 or more ATK. When this card is Special Summoned: End the Battle Phase.

Card-wise, the stats are OK for its Level but effect is pretty much situational: Your opponent has to be playing a DARK deck for its effect to have any use. In addition, there is some confusion on where this card needs to be for its effect to activate (does it need to be in hand or Graveyard?). Ending the Battle Phase is nice, but as stated earlier; it's situational on who you're fighting. The limit on this card's effect essentially makes it Nomi in a way; since you need to SS it a certain way (though Normal Summoning is still an option).

It would most likely be a side deck card, or for use in non-competitive decks.

Probably would be sideboard in this format (assuming Chaos decks are still running well).

Also, for the SS effect, you didn't clarify where this card needs to be in order for it to take effect.

 

Overall, it's a decent card but has limited uses, like you just mentioned.

Now that you have this card being SS from hand with effect, essentially makes a restricted/more-specific variant of Gorz for beasts (I already mentioned in previous posts that it has its uses, but those are dependent on very specific situations). But it does differ from said card by ending the Battle Phase at that point.

 

Overall, while pretty much a lesser option to Gorz; it does have its merits by stopping the Battle Phase which aforementioned card cannot do with his effect.
