Darj
Wow, you got a lot of monsters. But unfortunately I dare to say that at most 1/3 of them are actually good: The rest either: a. Have arguably bad effects like weak burns and LP gain, and other effects that do no generate card advantage. (Eg. Ragna, Arakune, Hazama, Amane) b. have too low ATK to reliably generate Hea Counters and use their effects (Eg. Taokaka, Carl) c. Have good effects and ATK, but are Level 5+ and thus require Tribute (Eg. Relius, Drone-Nu, Hakumen). From all of them, probably the good ones are Valkenhayn, Tsubaki, Bang (for Ninja support), Terumi and perhaps Azrael. And Izayoi in the Extra Deck. Litchi is good too, but I'm assuming his Level is a typo and should be at least 6 because it has a really high ATK for a level 4. Most of them have such low ATK that they won't likely get the chance of even gaining Counters without support from card such as Waboku or Half Shut, unless your opponent conveniently summons a wall that you can hit with your Azurebonds, netting battle damage to yourself in the process. Even if you later release Spell/Traps that generate Heat Counters, my guess is that those Azurebonds with weak effects would still remain underused. Probably only Rachel and Platinum would become playable after Azurebond S/T support. My suggestion would be to either boost their ATK by at least +500, or make support Traps or Quick-Play Spells that boost ATK by 1000+ Also, if would be good if you picked 2 Azurebonds and replaced their Heat Counter effects with a S/T removal and a searching effect (Add 1 "Azurebond" monster from the deck to your hand) respectively. For some reason, the Azurebonds Xyz don't have any detaching effect and they only work as beaters. I think you should give them some detaching effect to make use of the Xyz Materials and further support Azurebonds (generate Heat Counters, ATK boosts for all Azures you control, etc.). Vandar
Thanks a lot for the response, you put me to think a lot in thinking about my cards ^^ I appreciate it. Bye the way, there is a huge mistake in one card of mine: Litchi has 1600 ATK, my mistake XD Your critics are goods, and I think that I will increase the following: 1) Increase the Weak Burn and LP Gain; Hazama wouldn't change (I think it only needs a buff in ATK, same as Arakune). 2) Increase the ATK of Taokaka and Carl ^^ (You gave me a very good tip here, as before). 3) Re-balance the Stars... 4) The Xyz... I think i would make use of the material after all ^^ The Spell and Trap Cards are focused in three ways: A) Put Counters, generate counters and increase ATK by counters. B) Destroy monsters in the field to open tha way for Azurebonds to attack. C) Miscelanous XD Thanks a lot Voltex, I will work in my cards!!! Toffee.
Not to seem like a killjoy, but why do these have to add counters? If you can immediately use the effect in the same Battle Phase in which you placed the counter in the first place, why separate them like that? O,oAlthough, you could justify it a little more if you added some Spell/Trap cards that at helped add counters, in the event you wanted to speed them up a little.
