Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon

Recommended Posts

Well yeah, though I was talking about it in conjunction with NGEPD.

There is a slight difference though - the Photon Dragons strip off Overlay Units to determine power boosts and, in NGEPD's case, the number of attacks. GETD just negates everything's effect, counts cards, and uses that for the boost (then decides to attack twice on its own). Odds are it'll be a mix of the two, which'll make it insane.

Well, knowing that NGEPD steals overlay units without battling BUT with the cost of only being SS1, NGETD may have the this. But, if this is the case, then it is going to be a little underwhelming if Tachyon first brawl is with Kite. I say this because regular Tachyon, even the rl counterpart, can do little(rl=negate effect) to nothing(anime without backup) to regular Photon and can`t do anything to Neo Photon without help. And, Tachyon being an Xyz monster dosen't help either, since Photons EATS XYZS FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER, AND DESSERT. So, if Tachyon can't defeat neither of his rival's counterparts, how can his Chaos Form do any better?
Possible anime rank-up effect:
Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card; negate the effects of all face-up cards your opponent controls. If you do, this card gains 1000 attack for each(until the end phase), *Also, it could attack that many times during each battle phase this turn.

* I'm not sure that they would add this effect unless A) There planning to kill someone for awhile or b) they are going to have someone to ass pull his way out of this effect.

I'm thinking NGETD will negate the effects of all other monsters, give a boost and its number of attacks that turn are equal to the number of monsters effs it negated.

If that is the case, NGEPD's role in Photons will be entirely lost to this thing.

Except for the part where NGEPD's role is to either punch a hole through a lockdown Where you have no other outs, or to show off. This thing won't replace that so long as RUM remains unsearchable.

Because it's already an inconsitent deck that doesn't want to be more inconsitent.

Yes, we must keep in mind that C107 still requires a Rank-Up-Magic card to be properly summoned (As long as they get a sort of limitation, otherwise the decks will be full of RUMS and then the game is over)

Right, because with 2 more known RUMs to potentially be released soon, what are the chances a RUM searcher is made?

The same as the likelyhood of one being printed after the last 3 RUM's were printed. So unless it happens, it's not likely.

I'm not going to say that a card whose effect isn't even known, who will require an inconsitent mechanic of which has no confirmed searcher, and which requires a frankly meh card to unlock it's true potential, is going to usurp a boss monster whose only use is to be win-moar, or as an actual last resort, in an already inconsitent deck, who can't even summon said boss consitently.

Which takes more work - gathering 3 LV8s, or 2 and a Spell Card? You just said yourself Neo Galaxy-Eyes is bad, and seeing as 107 already does its job better...

When the 3 Level 8's can be made off of two cards, all of which happen to be searchable: It's still easier to make than C107...

And I didn't say Neo was bad... I said it's win-moar. Tachyon does not do the job better. Neo cripples the opponents field and ends the game then and there unless you've played him wrong. Not to mention: Neo Negates everything, not just Monsters. And will sit at 4500 minimum. Which is harder to get over than 3k.

A 3k potential 4k double attack can't punch through a situation easier than a 4500+ potential X attacker.

Winmoar card ARE bad, by definition, since they're entirely superfluous.

Since we are going off topic I will leave it at this:

You may have also spotted I said this:

whose only use is to be win-moar, or as an actual last resort,

Which means it's not entirely win-moar, which means it's not a bad card, not did I say it was a bad card.

And win-moar cards are bad, half the time the win-moar stuff is something that's degenerate or is ban worthy, not something sucky. It's hard to be win-moar and a shit card.
