Paladin of Determination

I Hate Snatch Steal

Inspired by Nasch and Abyss Splash plowing through Vector's troops in zexal episode 120 (and the music they played for those 45 or so seconds was awesome).

If your opponent controls 2 or more monsters then you do, you can special summon this card (from your hand). When summoned from your hand, if your Life Points are lower than your opponent's: This card gains ATK equal to your current Life Point deficit (max 4000), and if it does, you cannot attack directly this turn. When summoned except from your hand while your life points are lower then your opponent's: this card's original ATK becomes 2400. During your Battle Phase, if your opponent controls a monster after this card's first attack: this card can make a second attack during that Battle Phase.

Rulings notes

- Paladin of determination will always get either 2400 original ATK or an ATK boost, depending on life points and how it was summoned. Without other card effects involved, there is not a situation where neither effect will activate.
