GhostrickMummy-LVAL-JP-C.png

Level 3 DARK Zombie-Type Effect Monster
ATK 1500
DEF 0
Cannot be Normal Summoned, unless you control a “Ghostrick” monster. Once per turn: You can change this card to face-down Defense Position. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon 1 “Ghostrick” monster in addition to your Normal Summon. You cannot Special Summon monsters, except DARK monsters.

basically OPT Normal Summoning, discuss dat mummy

It's awful. Too slow to do anything because of the fact that you have to set it first and having 0 def means it'll get killed by anything. Don't play it.

You know, Ghostrick House is there for a reason...

Not to mention Mary, Out, O'Lantern, etc.

I believe I edited my post after you saw it...

Why would I waste my Mary on this when I could get something good like a Kyonkyon or a Stein or something though? And sure, you can protect it with Lantern or something but by the point it's face-up why is it not already an Alucard? Besides, you can already drop Alucard and Dullahan without this. The only truly beneficial point about this card is the fact that it has 1500 ATK and 0 DEF for Recurring.

Koko, this card is good.  It isn't like Kyonkyon or Stein, but at least it fills a specific niche that Ghostricks definitely need to be viable.  Too many possibilities with this card to list.  I can say that this + Catgirl = lock.  Or, face-up Ghostrick + This + Ghoul = heavy damage.

I honestly like the design on this card.

But to define a card as good, it really has to be worth the deckspace. Would you really play with this, seeing as how your deck will be full enough as it is?

If you put it in those terms, then this is just not needed.  Mary pretty much fills the conditions for Alucard shenanigans.
