So lately I've been reading a lot of comments of various forums about how some people are upset that Yu-Gi-Oh has changed so much and how everyone is just either Xyz/Synchro Summoning, so I decided to create a one card solution! Originally, this was just a joke card that I made to skip the opponent's turn but that would never be fair, so I decided to change the effect (although I kept the same name and picture - the pic is something I found on Google and then edited on Photoshop). Oh, if you're wondering how the name relates to the effect, then here's my take "you think you have time to Xyz/Synchro Summon, but guess what? You don't!" Anyway, I'm not sure if this card could be considered broken or not, or if the cost should be higher, so please rate/fix etc. Thank you!

 

 

Errata: Pay 2000 Life Points; banish all cards in both player's Extra Deck.

The problem with creating a "one-card solution" is that you make it impossible for a whole superclass of Decks to work. You cannot provide such a simple tool with a plausible Life Point cost. This would mean instant and permanent victory against any Synchro-, Fusion- or Xyz-centered Deck. If you make it return the banished monsters to the Extra Deck unless a maintenance cost is paid, or until a certain time passes, it could be acceptable.

Hopefully you realized what the description of this forum says before posting this.

As newhat pointed out, most Decks rely on an Extra Deck to do things; activating this card will pretty much shut them down completely; even though you take the chance of banishing your own Extra Deck as well (but if you don't have one, then it's essentially one-sided to your opponent)

 

Either you add a higher LP cost (since 2000 is cheap, given what we're dealing with is potentially banishing a full 12-15 card Extra Deck) and/or put a time limit of how long cards stay banished, then it might be balanced to some degree.
