Blake
During the End Phase of the turn this card was Normal Summoned: Destroy this card. When this card is sent to the Graveyard: Add 1 "Heraldic Beast" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Heraldic Beast Leo". You can only use this effect of "Heraldic Beast Leo" once per turn. Honestly, it should be limited. I wouldn't say it outrigth needs to be banned, but having access to more than 1 while also having access to cards that can send it from the deck to the grave AND Advanced Heraldry Arts just isn't fair at all, as you can search basically every turn. Even at 1 it wouldn't be a fair card, but it wouldn't be totally absurd. Oh, and AHA is equally deserving of a limit at best. Objectively speaking, not in terms of what's really going to happen, just in terms of sheer power level and degeneracy, not as in what it's currently doing in the metagame. 玄魔の王
Let's face it, Leo is the only reason Heraldic Beasts are at all viable as a deck. AHA is a great card, but the deck would run out of resources quickly if it didn't have a searcher like Leo.
mido9
Just ban AHA, instantly fine. It'd lose a lot of its recyleability and just turn into a flexible searcher, mostly.
Toffee.
Why do I find it silly how this card is a "When" effect, but lacks the infamous "you can" clause? That aside, though, it pretty much IS the only real reason why Heraldics are a deck, just because this card alone is an abusable toolbox all by itself. You hit Leo, and you hurt the whole deck, and I prefer the deck to remain healthy. My question to you now is: Why are you concerned about Heraldics? Is it the new support? My question to you now is: Why are you concerned about Heraldics? Is it the new support? If you're concerned about a deck you love, talk of what cards deserve isn't for you. New stuff's degenerate. I enjoy playing it, but it's certainly not fair. Not gonna be tier by any means, hence me admitting they won't be hit in any way, but still gonna be another degenerate rogue deck that people play. Along with Harpies, UtopiaTK, etc. Nothing wrong with pointing out what's ideal and what's wrong with a deck in absurd proportions, is there? I don't mind rogue decks so much, becuse I see fighting them as a challenge, and when you bore as easily as I do that's important.

I don't mind Rogue Decks either. I don't mind playing agaisnt Battlin' Boxers, Vampires, Ghostricks, and so on... But I do mind degenerate decks. There's a line between the two. evilfusion
Like Chronomaly and Gimmick Puppets, Heraldics are an interesting Deck that are sadly undersupported. They need either really good support to compensate for how little they have, or they need a lot more support. Leo is ridiculous in a purely objective viewpoint. It's Sangan on steroids. It's mandatory, so it never misses the timing. It can be sent from hand, Deck, Field, or Xyz Material to get its effect. The archetype has its own Monster Reborn with Heraldry Reborn and an instant Rank 4 in the form of Advanced Heraldry Art. Because it's mandatory and the flexibility of where it's sent from, it can be nuts with things like Call of the Haunted when targeted by removal. It also loves cards like Pinpoint Guard. The only reason the card isn't limited is because Heraldics are a mediocre archetype that is easily shut down with Graveyard manipulation, and even if you search constantly, the monsters are weak and are difficult to Special Summon continuously. The new support might actually see Leo hit in some way, since even at 1, Leo is amazing due to the constant revival and recycling Heraldics can pull off. Lonk
You know Black, I have been saying that those two cards have been broken for a long time and should be looked at when more support for Heraldics are released. It's nothing new for me or evilfusion. OT: Leo is absolutely ridiculous for the statements evilfusion said. The fact that Leo can work off of an Xyz Material cost is amazing.
