CARD: How it came to be: During the Magic wars against Summoned Skull, the Fairy Army banished a Skull Knight into the abyss of their great river, while he was trapped their his undead imprurities cured the waters turning them pitch black, filling it with cold murky ,swampy waters. If an opponent Attacks a monster you control is destroyed by battle by an opponent's attacking monster: on your field and destroys it, You can Tribute sacrifice 2 monsters from your on your field or hand or side of the field; destroy all cards in your opponent's hand. During your next Draw Phase after you activate that effect Turn: You can draw 3 cards and sacrifice discard them, and if you do, Increase this card gains 1000 ATK. I'm not sure why you'd include "Tribute from hand" or "Destroy cards in your opponent's hand", but since we have cards that legally use those mechanics (Hieratics and Fire Kings respectively), I've decided to let them stay there, and watch your face if you dare to run this against Fire Kings. Also not sure what's the point of drawing 3 then following up with Tributing them, in comparison to sending them from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard. You can substitute 'thing' for any other word there; Eater, Monster, whatever, just not... Thing. I mean, it sounds like you're not quite sure on what it is. Heck, it almost sounds like an RC title by me: "Fairy Swamp.. Thing? [Toyo Single]" Alright, back to the card. Well, as it stands, it's literally nothing more than a giant 3450 ATK beater with no restrictions, which is pretty insane. DARK/Fiend means it's easily summonable by many cards. 3450 ATK is really, too high. It literally tramples ANYTHING period. But, it's basically a vanilla monster. Nobody would attack one of your monsters while this thing is around, so you're very unlikely to trigger any of it's ridiculous effects. I can see this being an issue in battle-oriented decks, but honestly, there are so many monster removers out there. It's nothing more than a pressure card that serves as an irritance whenever it's played. And yeah, Hieratics can go wild with this. With such a heavy emphasis on hand-tributing, Hieratics can get a lot of pluses they normally can't get. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JamieDeeRaw Posted November 23, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 23, 2013 It's called a "Thing because it literally is unknown by the younger Fairy population, as it stands it was created during the war with a Zombie years ago....note ago, which means the name of this beast and character was forgotten in time,so thing is naturally proper to give then a name,which face it would not fit since who in their right mind would name a creature that looks like that... in a bloody swamp, not to mention anyone caught traveling it,unless you're a really brave soul, will dieSo to also comment on the worst name base, compared to the names before and recent on cards, fan made, this is just fine. I appreciate all comments and reviews, they are very entertaining, and I LOVE the personal input on the name, I laughed so hard, and to be honest, on the whole " not knowing what to call it",yeah that's totally what that was, I mean what tha hell do you call a Skull Knight that metamorphed into that hehe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
