Darklord Ukoback - From the Manga to ycm forum XD

Hello again :D

Today I want to share with you my lastest card "DARKLORD UKOBACK". It's a normal monster that appears in yu-gi-oh gx manga

My version it's an effect monster that supports "Darklords" Archetype

When this card is normal summoned, you can add 1 "Darklord" monster from your Deck to your hand. If this is the only monster you control, this card can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a DARK Fairy-type monster. When a DARK Fairy-Type monster is Tribute Summoned by Tributing this card: Special summon 1 "Darklord" monster from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position. Its effects are negated.

a nice support and remake for a card like that, it's allowed Darklord to Xyz summon easier since it can be tributed for Zerato and ss Superbia, then after zerato effect u just Xyz it to prevent it self-destruction, also it's a nice setup at first turn with that card and some protection S/T then tribute it for Darklord Asmodeus next turn, about its balance i see that u clearly noticed how OP if that monster ss Superbia without any drawback, so to negate an effect is the nice idea. nice card overall :)

I think something is wrong with the last effect: They way you worded it, as soon as this card gets treated as a 2-Tribute for a Tribute Summon, you will be special summoning the Darklord from the graveyard; is that correct? Or maybe your intention was for the last effect to trigger when Ukoback is used as Tribute for a Darklord monster?

 

Anyways, I think the card is really good. Darklords do need the support, and this card helps both with searching AND summoning them.

 

Also, did you draw the artwork? Because I think it looks great.

For the last effect: After you treat this card as 2 Tributes and summon the Dark Fairy monster, you can special summon another Darklord monster from your graveyard :)
