I have an idea about to hold some contest, but im confusing about something, how will i manage pot? according to many contests i entered, pot amount's increased not equal to the fee but they're increase differently in each contest so i want to know an increase-ratio or not-less-than-xxx-increase or sth like that, thx :)

Generally speaking, the host sets aside a couple points for a pot that's used to award prizes at the end.

In most cases, the entry fees from the other members goes to help make it bigger (how much it goes up depends on both the entry fee + how many people are willing to enter and pay that much). If a certain amount of people enter, then the host puts more (this isn't always the case).

 

However, it's your contest so you can run the pot however you want. [There's no set way you have to run it]

You can just have the pot be solely comprised of entry fees; or you can add some of your own points as well in addition to make it a bigger payoff.
