Dark Strawberry
Okay, so I was wondering, what if Konami introduced a new rule to the game which states that "if you destroy an opponent's card(s) with a Spell, Trap or Monster card effect during your Main Phase 1, you cannot conduct your Battle Phase this turn"? How would this impact the game? Personally, I think it would be a great way to encourage more strategic thinking. Of course it'll hinder some cards, it would even mean that if you play Dark Hole to clear the field you'd have to wait another turn before attacking, but I think it's an effective way to help slowly encourage more strategic play. After that, they can gradually introduce some other minor adjustments as well which can then greatly improve gameplay, while still being able to keep it at a level for both kids and adults to be able to play. -Noel-
i don't know how can u think that, but this site will be closed and konami cant sell anything if it was real. that rule make game very unfair for many stalling or burn deck, nowadays they are annoying enough, dont try to improve them anymore, pls
goddamnit names are a pain
This is bad. I'm sorry, just going to be honest. Nice of you for trying though. Beating an ace by destroying it after it raped you for turns on end and not being able to attack is no longer strategy. That's a one-sided game. Vision Magician
I absolutely hate stall/burn decks, they're so annoying. Like the others above me have said, adding this rule is a bad idea and would ruin the game.
Sora1499
Destruction isn't inherently bad for the game, just the over-availability of destruction. I don't see why it'd be punished.
Sleepy
Destruction is not the only mean of removal, so it'd feel weird, forced, and awfully specific. We'd be better off making versions of that abusive removal in a more balanced way and getting rid of them. As an example of what Sora said, Fissure is not bad for the game, but Raigeki is. It's not the concept of destruction itself, but the way it's done.
Goose
That's just one more buff to cards that don't "destroy"
