Ritual spell and monster

The only use your card has is if your opponent has something big and you have no removal.

You're sacking 5 monsters for 1, you generally want to end up with more than a beatstick. Think of it this way, those 5 monsters had a combined attack equal to double that of what this is going to have, as well as any effects they have.

Top it off if you have a full field of monsters you can either Xyz, Synchro or plain go for an OTK.

I think that the correct wording should be:

"This card is used to Ritual Summon Lord of the Water Possession. You can activate this card only if you control 5 or more WATER monsters, also you must Tribute all the monsters you control." (but i think this wouldn't be legit yet, because usually monsters tributed for a ritual summon should have a combined level that is equal to ritual monster's level)

monster:

You can Ritual Summon this card with "Hand of Water". This card's original ATK and DEF is equal to half the combined ATK and DEF of the monsters tributed for its Ritual Summon.

Is there even a way to put 5 WATERs on the field? The only thing I can think of are Frogs, but that means that you're taking a -6 to make a vanilla beater that doesn't even peak at enough ATK to get taken out by BTH. Gishkis might be able to do it, but they're probably going to get stuck with a LIGHT monster on the field.

Anyway, demolishing your advantage for an extravagantly huge beater isn't a very good strategy to use. It's why Montage Dragon doesn't see play, except in horrible Decks. Plus, getting five monsters onto the field is an arduous task, and getting a beatstick for having those 5 + a Ritual Spell and a Ritual Monster who have been dead in your hand for who-knows-how-long is not good enough a reward for it (especially when you're losing damage output for the beater as well as card advantage). Also, as this card determines its own ATK, effect negation severely screws this card over, turning your -6 into a 0/0 vanilla until it dies.

Firstly, the requirement needs to be changed. Making it a lot more like the other Rituals (you Tribute monsters from your field or your hand whose Level equal the Ritual Monster's or more) makes this much more playable, though it will still be difficult to play since 1: It's a Ritual, and 2: Being Level 11 is very awkward for ARA, and would require you to Tribute three or so monsters unless you're running Gishki Shadow/Vision.

As stated above, the monster needs to be able to do something other than beat things to death. It makes it a much better card overall than if it was a huge beater. Look at the monster's artwork; the creatures below the monster look as is they're brainwashed until your monster's control. Perhaps you could give it an effect that deals with that (which is also a nice way to justify this being Level 11, though ARA could still be a problem with this).
