Lunar Origins Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 Pulled this card out of a Tidal tin, and boy, did the art hit me hard for some reason. Target 1 face-up Level 3 monster you control; Special Summon 1 monster with the same name as that monster from your hand or Graveyard. Its effects are negated. During the End Phase of this turn, destroy the face-up monster that was targeted by this card. By no means is it a 'great' card, but it seems representative of what Konami thought of Synchros as of ABYR. The Japanese name means "Last-Moment Tuning" - which is odd, as you can't possibly Synchro Summon with two monsters of the same name under normal conditions. goddamnit names are a pain Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 "Tuning" could be "Changing their ways" so that they Xyz instead of Synchro. The art is a lie. Combos with Meklords (not really) and also, You can still have a chance to Normal Summon. Synchro still a thing? I could see possible Red Nova Dragon combos with this too.
