Airride
Overcharce Counter Trap When a Monster effect is activated: Banish 2 Machine or Thunder-Type monsters from your graveyard; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster. Just a random little Counter Trap, since it doesn't seem like we see many nowadays.
Sora1499
Now why would I want to use this, a -1 that requires me to have already extended my resources, when there exist 3 monster negators that all do about the same thing but better? You could probably omit the banishing and maybe it'd see use.

Also, what are these 3 things that do it better? I'm thinking you're referring to Breakthrough, Veiler, and Chain, but none of them eliminate the problem, and all of them only hit the field. But there's also Divine Wrath, who gets rid of monster effects from anywhere, is a Counter Trap (which makes it harder to react to), actually destroys the monster, and has a much broader spectrum of cards it can get rid of for its cost, not to mention it gets rid of cards that aren't actively protecting your Life Points. And that card isn't even used in favor of the other three. If you want to make a monster negation card, then that's nice, but just remember that costs are painful. Goose
Like 90% of the time Divine Wrath is better for what I know
Airride
So, I need something else added to this to make it worth over Divine Wrath, somehow?
-Noel-
Yea this is completely outclassed by Divine Wrath, from card theme, I suggested that u can make the effect of the card with the same name as the one that was negated cannot activated again for some amount of turn (like it is electrified or sth like that)
Maeriberii Haan
A way to recycle this, or make this not a -1, somehow. How about change the cost to banishing Machines/Thunders from the grave?

How about change the cost to banishing Machines/Thunders from the grave? I feel grave banishing isn't too much of a cost, but I guess, with Machines and Thunders, Most REALLY rely on the grave, so it may be fair to make it banish 2 or something? Maeriberii Haan
That'd work, I guess.
Airride
I feel banishing 1 would be a bit too easy. 2 at least makes you think, and you can;t use it Turn 1 as easily.
