Delibirb Posted January 10, 2014 Report Share Posted January 10, 2014 But then one could slam 25 Xyz and Synchros for every possible scenario and barely rely on main deck, as opposed to what we need to do (which is good) being picking the ones relevant and necessary, not just 3 Diamond Dire Wolfs, Utopias, Excitons, Ark Knights, etc. If it were to be an extra deck card (and I sincerely hope it isnt, I sort of like the sarcastic idea of 1 of this new card type per deck), then I would expect/hope for their to be an Extra Deck limit of 15 for Fusions/Synchros/Xyz, plus however many, lets say 5, of this new card. CyberScorch Posted January 31, 2014 Report Share Posted January 31, 2014 maybe in 2 or 3 years a new card type would work well but for now XYZ and CXYZ is something that players have the option to use. right now I think they need to focus on more suport monsters. for example I've been thinking of 2 ok monsters for the cyber archetype. 1 is a tuner called cyber phoenix frei, once per turn it's not destroyed in battle. and 2 is a synchro called cyber phoenix eclipse, while in defence it negates all spell cards. and if destroyed in battle you can draw 2 cards. I thought these would be cool because of the new XYZ cyber dragon. I read someplace that in the japanese culture the phoenix stood for yin and the dragon for yang.
